Cliff Barackman's Minnesota Field Notes Talks About the Peeping Bigfoot Who Has a Nickname

There were so many witnesses coming forward with stories of Bigfoot sightings in Northern Minnesota that it's easy to see why the St. Croix Bigfoot footage was left out of the episode.

According to an anonymous comment, signed with the initials "MM", the cast of the show "strongly suspects that the video is a hoax, and it was obtained far away from where the Finding Bigfoot team was looking around, up northwest of Moose Lake." Since the footage wasn't even mentioned on the show, this sounds like a possible explanation.

If we had to make a decision between the St. Croix footage and the Peeping Bigfoot story, we would probably go with the latter, too.

In Cliff Barackman's field notes, the locals in the area have a nickname for the Peeping Bigfoot creature:

At one point in our investigation, a man drove by in a truck and asked what we were doing. We told him about the bigfoot sighting, and he told us that that this particular sasquatch had been seen several times by people that he knows in the area. He even told us a nick name of this particular creature given to it by the locals: “Peek-a-Lou.” It seems that many of the local humans are aware of this creature and its affinity for looking into windows.

  1. I look forward to Cliff's field notes and debrief more than the show.

  2. You bet. Cliff's notes are a great insight into the behind the scenes "going ons". Don't the producers think that if they had included Lorrain's statements as to other witnesses with her, it would make it even more incredible? Instead of constant recapping after every commercial for 30 seconds, give of more real activity.

  3. Yup. That Cliff is like the happy ambassador for BF. I found the location to be really feasible for BF, though I seriously don't know how such a muscular creature would survive winters up there without a really great layer of fat.

    1. I remember when the little old lady posted her bigfoot sighting report on the BFRO and thought it was an amazing sighting. Too bad she didn't have a cell phone or camera to take pics!

OMG Could you just imagine seeing that thing looking through your windows?

  4. While the video may be fake, don't pay attention to anyone who says there moneymaker. There's at least one 'MM' reply to every other thread.

  5. Sasquai agree I learn more from Cliff notes than the actual show.

Chuck your right! I thought there was more of an actual investigation the first season. Now its quick investigation, town hall meeting, story time, pick someone up, quick investigation and finally conclusion. I look forward to the CGI Squatches more than the investigation.

  6. It would be nice if the show could include investigations that are fresh. Some that have not already been picked apart on the internet. It's got to be the easiest show to make. Little research, little investigation, and very little expectations as to results. It's a decent show, but could be so much better.

  7. I live in Northwestern Minnesota (Roseau County) and I have heard multiple accounts of Bigfoot sightings in my area. The Bigfoots here seem to be extremely bold, most sightings happening in broad daylight. The Bigfoots are very bold, they throw rocks and make constant eye contact with witnesses. Minnesota Bigfoots rule! :D

  8. Again, nothing but stories without one shred of proof.

  9. I do enjoy Cliff's field notes.

I wish they had gotten a drawing of Peek-a-Lou. With 3 different vehicles and the two people who were so close when he walked by I would think that would have been a great time for a sketch! These beings are huge up north!

  10. To Anonymous above me

There may not be the kind of proof you're looking for but 3 different vehicles with a total of 5 witnesses watching the same thing at the same time seems pretty concrete to me.

  11. How do you know that 3 differenet vehicles with a total of 5 witnesses is true and not part of some BS story?

    1. I would think that the burden of proof lies with those who make the claim, not those who hear the claim.

  12. it just hit me that Cliff's voice sounds like Richard Dreyfuss.
