Now someone has to go back into en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Bigfoot and make the correction.
Noun
Bigfoot (pluralBigfootorBigfeetor Bigfoots orSasquiorSasquatches)
(US, cryptozoology) A humanoid creature, similar to the yeti, said to live in the forests of the northwestern USA.
I vote for a tribe of Bigfoot. Perhaps a clan.
ReplyDeleteEverytime I hear "Bigfoots",it makes me laugh for some reason.
ReplyDeleteI always thought the singular and plural were the same, just like moose.
I agree with Autumn.Tribe or Clan sounds good.
I agree with both of you guys.. Plural of Bigfoot should stay Bigfoot and tribe or clan when speaking of a group as a singular unit. Good work!
ReplyDeleteI prefer squatches...
ReplyDeleteWhat, no one likes Standings "Troop"? I prefer bigfoot for both plural and singular. When speaking of a group, tribe sounds the best and makes the most sense.
ReplyDeleteTo have dominion over the definition of the plural concept of bigfoot/bigfeet you should probably have some proof of its' existence in the first place. It is bad enough that hundreds of charateristics are assigned to bigfoot/sasquatch without a type specimin.
ReplyDeleteClan is good. It fits the terrain.

Exactly what, nobody wants Rankings "Troop"? I favor bigfoot with regard to each dual as well as unique. Whenever talking about an organization, group seems the very best as well as can make probably the most feeling.
