Patrick from Ohio found this shelter possibly belonging to a Bigfoot near his house and wants to know if any researchers are interested in checking it out

Bigfoot Evidence reader Patrick from East Liverpool, Ohio sent us these photos of what he beleives to be an Ohio Grassman hut. Patrick says this strange shelter is about 200 yards from his house. It looks like whatever made it was taking advantage of pre-cut Christmas trees that were left there by him from last year. "I have found a brush shelter in my woods it is made out of sticks leaves and past Christmas trees that i take back into the woods," Patrick wrote.

"Every night my dogs bark in the direction of the shelter but unlike when its any native animal they are to afraid to leave the yard. I also have found some odd foot prints and unknown animal scat. Im very curious and concerned what it is and would like an expert to come investigate."

Patrick also mentioned that he's 6 foot tall and the shelter looks big enough for him to fit in if he tried. "I've seen some tree breaking I just figured it was the wind and never thought much of it but im not sure if something 7 foot tall could live in it but im 6 foot and I think I could definitely fit in it if I tried."

If you're anywhere near the north side of East Liverpool and you're interested in what Patrick has in his backyard, you can contact BigfootEvidence@gmail.com and we'll forward your message to him. High resolution photos are also available.

  1. Shawn,

People take advantage of you. This is a hoax and the trash composing the hut shows this.

  2. Look at the two pictures in one you see a house in the background and the other a ridge. This ridge is far off and there is no way a Sasquatch makes a shelter that far from the ridge because it improves the chances he is seen-when a house is so close.

You also have nothing showing for scale to show the size. And it came with an email intentionally written to sound like it came from an idiot.

  3. Ok first off how much have u actually studied a bigfoot to know where they build a shelter and i dont know how much experiance u have in the woods but with other animals such as bears a young male will often move into wierd territorys searching for new land like maybe a bigfoot moving close to a house. Also what makes the email sound like an idiot.

  4. I don't know if this is authentic or not.It sure is funny how skeptics, who sit in their warm chairs, are such experts on hoaxes.
Pictures and videos don't do an experience justice. You need to be there, looking at evidence in three dimensional terms.
I think field research skeptics are as elusive as Bigfoot.
No offense to the above Anon posters,I'm speaking about skeptics in general.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Exactly sasquaination i think u would have to study the site to be sure considering hardcore evidence is very scarce and we know little about any bigfoot like creatures

  6. I am not a skeptic but can see how small this actually is. It also does not appear well built. You want to see real nests- Susan Farns on Youtube. Also look at the target shooters video and the hut that was found. The video looked like it may have been a gully suit but look closely at that hut and how well it was built.

NOBODY should go investigate something in a remote area sent to a blog by someone whose identity can't be verified. Is that really wise.

  7. @Anonymous-Building a small shelter, just enough to protect you makes perfect sense. The closer it is to your body, the warmer you will stay.
Watch domestic animals when they want to keep warm. They will find a nice tight place to sleep.
Only humans build large extravagant shelters.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Im the one that discovered the shelter and although it does seem an odd place for a shelter all i know is i didnt build it and no other normal animal built it. To me its a mystery and after my own investigation im now asking for someone to help me come to a conclusion.

  9. Thank you SasquaiNation for a logical wise answer. Patrick welcome to Bigfoot Evidence.

I hope someone takes you up on your offer.

As far as looking for hairs, if he finds them then what?

Patrick have you ever noticed a strong odor there?

Surely a couple of researchers in Ohio would be interested in this???

  10. Im planning on searching deeper into the woods for better sign because if one is moving close to my house maybe theres more activity farther away

  11. I'm sorry I'm not picking on you but I can't let this one pass.........
To anonymous who posted about the target shooters and the hut that was found. You can see the guys face in the gilly suit or whatever he's wearing as he walks through the woods, so since it probably is a person in the gilly suit I'm assuming the person(human) is the one who built the hut not Sasquatch.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Too close, and the woods are too open. Chances of 'Squatch small.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Some of the branches look like they might of been cut with a saw.. does bigfoot use a saw?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Blondie

My thoughts were they found the hut and then began filming and got the guy in the gilly suit by accident or on purpose. I got chills when I saw that hut and say please take a good look at it.

  15. If you have seen Les Stroud and Bear Grylls make shelters you know it can be done but just take a look at the hut in the target shooters video it just looks like it was built with a much greater knowledge and "authentic". Like something you would see in the 1600's as it would appear then. It was found in an area that has sightings.

Even the gilli suit theory- which i say it very likely does not explain the sighting away. Hunters dont often hike around in Gilli suits- they tend to stay stationary or move stealth like- but alot of sightings are attributed to this- could a bigfoot look alot like a gilli suit to where we overanalyze and dismiss sightings we should not.

I find nests and dens the most interesting element of this topic. Two pictures have made me stop and think it was clear you were seeing something different from the way a man would build a shelter.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Aye Patrick How long bro did it take yo to drag those ole Xmas trees out behind your house to make this dude ? When yu made it you forgot somethig (your brain ).

    ReplyDelete
  17. Looks like you forgot your brain too when you were typing that bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hey everyone pointing out the cut trees did u read the article. It clearly states that the old xmas trees were gone from where they were originally placed then later found on the shelter. Also i would agree that the way the shelter is built is nothing like the way any man builds one

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hey dip shits lets get this strait. How many of you have seen a bigfoot hut? So how many of you actually know where and what one looks like. Then alot of questions would be answered if you actually read the article unless the quotations and paragraph structure are to advanced for you. What this comes down to is a strange shelter was found and yes it is on an odd place, but maybe a young male was pushed out by a more dominate animal and he temporarily ended up there.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Could this have been built by a bigfoot, yes. Could it have been built by human, I have seen Bear Grylls construct similar overnight shelters using fallen trees, sticks, and leaves. As for it being to close, I have found a tepee structure in the Sand Lake area of the Huron National Forest in Michigan, that you can see from a dirt road that has no houses on it, and every time I go to view it I chase deer away. Maybe Patrick's shelter is an ambush den. Maybe it was built by kids as I use to do in a wooded lot next to my house growing up in Michigan. Of all the things we think we know of Bigfoot, we know very little of the shelters and structures found in woods, as I have not read of anyone witnessing a Bigfoot building or operating out of one. I would come take a look at it Patrick, as it is intriguing, however I live on the other side of the state in non Bigfoot farmland outside of Dayton.

  22. Bear Grylls is a foolish t.v. hound. I realize he is famous, etc. but some of the things that he does in the name of survival is down right ignorant.

My opinion is not coming from a couch setting, arm chair quarterback. I am an avid outdoorsman.

This Bear guy will find a stream in a wooded area and then squeal, "streams usually flow into populated areas, if you are lost-follow the stream." The fool will then run with a full head of steam and jump right into the water scratching and ripping his way along the slippery rocks. Afterward, his personal crew who is with him (while he is supposedly lost and alone) will pan in for a close up of his face as he is lies almost lifeless on the bank downstream panting for breath. Hillarious!

First, You are making way to much noise.

Second, never exert to much energy. You never know how long you will be lost. Conserve and pace yourself.

Third, always attempt to stay dry. In cold weather, a wet body can lead to hypothermia. (unsure of spelling.) Water sources are great to stay hydrated, not for rolling and diving into.

Also, why run through all of these streams like a mad man? Simply walk beside of it. (Common sense here.) I have watched this guy swim through a pond/lake when walking around it would have taken only a few minutes more w/o expending 1/8th of the energy. (I realize that he may be demonstrating how to swim-but he never explains this. He simply lunges in head first flapping and splashing along like a convulsing animal, then he crawls onto dry land and starts sprinting toward the woodline like he just robbed a liquor store.)

I bet the hut was made as a t.v. "prop" by one of Bear's personal camera men who cater his food for him while he is on one of his "survival" missions.

I guessing that Bear Gryll is going to run full blast toward the hut and then do a canon ball/belly bust right on top of it. Afterward, he will gaze into the camera with a look of pain, agony, despair, and a dash of hope.

If it is a Bigfoot's hut, maybe bigfoot will come along and see Bear wallowing on his make-shift apartment. Then maybe we will see just how much of a survivalist Gryll is in the real "not made for t.v" world.

  23. Who ever uses a bigfoot "male organ" in an anology isnt getting laid enough and the entry hole looks big enough to crawl into. You would want to keap it small so as little heat as possible would escape.

    ReplyDelete
  24. i didnt know your insufficent evidence made you a big foot expert. This concludes that he couldnt fit, as his male organ would not fit as ive seen it before ive written 3 books in this creature. and by the way i havent been laid in almost 3 years because i take big foot to seriously.

  25. You've seen bigfoots junk? Im sorry but this is for real bigfoot hunters not someone who gets turned on by an elusive ape

    ReplyDelete
  26. im tired of people like you spoiling the name of the great big foot, i actually take this serious unlike you posting inadaquet bull spit on the internet and yes i have seen him numerous times so i would consider myself an expert on these things so seriously stop with all this nonsense

    ReplyDelete
  27. well if you are serious about this let me and my crew come out and interview and do a full processed scale investigation of your big foot scene and further investigation of your woods

    ReplyDelete
  28. Im clearly taking bigfoot seriouse because im actually analizing the photos not talking about how much bigfoot is paking so it would be apreciated if you and every other false bigfoot hunter that gives bigfoot a bad name to calming stand up and punch yourself in the nuts

  36. When I was a kid, we would make shelters all the time. We NEVER made one that was a pile like this, they were always way more elaborate. Kids have more imagination than this. To me this looks like a very efficient shelter, closed space to keep heat in. Heavily insulated, to keep heat in, and the elements out. Also it looks practical not permanent. Lastly we would build our shelters near where the supplies for it were. The less work you do, the less food and water you will need to survive. Just some thoughts--

  37. I have examined many of these shelters and there are certain clues to look for.

Any shelter possibly made by a Bigfoot will always have the ground area dug out between 6 to 8 inches and then filled with local materials that can serve as insulation. I do not see that in the pictures but cannot say it is not present.

This also appears to be quite small for a shelter. Some above claim the small size makes it more efficient and this is absolute hogwash. The shelters that have been discovered have all been large with a minimum of two average sized men being able to fit inside. No Sasquatch would have a shelter so small- if this is a legitimate structure then it is one in the process of being built. This could be made much larger if this were used as the base meaning materials are added to the structure you see and you keep adding and adding and then once inside remove what you see in the picture. Essentially what you see in the picture is designed to allow the other materials to be made in the same shape on a larger scale.

    BUT

The entrance and area around it has been covered with materials designed to prevent leaving footprints. Compare this area to the surrounding area and you the see the area around the shelter seems to have just enough more leaves so as there are no prints. A hoaxer may pick up on this but I dont take for granted hoaxers know to do this.

If this is in Ohio- as claimed-then it is in the one area where Bigfoot do not attempt to hide their shelters. The strange terrain of mountains but also expansive grasslands is unique. In Florida the grassland areas are swamps- not the case in Ohio. The fact Ohio presents terrain where it is at times impossible to find an area to "hide" a shelter, the pattern behavior there may be to make no attempt to.

Bigfoot are ambush predators but do not employ structures to hide, they hide in trees and attack from above which is done by no other predator and very effective as a result.

If this was a bigfoot shelter I doubt it was ever used. I think the bigfoot began to build it and then made the decision to quickly move on from the area. If Patrick often bar bqs outside and his trash cans are filled with trash that would attract one then a passing one may have been attracted to the area and then happy with what he found. It then believed it would be a good place to spend some time and began to construct it while making sure to sleep outside the immediate area. Patricks dog then began to bark, Patrick likely turned on an outside light at one point and these things made it decide it stayed long enough.

  38. Ha-Ha. I agree, Bear Gryll is a fake. On the other hand, the Les Stroud dude is legit. I can't stomach watching Gryll on t.v. I do enjoy Stroud though. Stroud has a BF encounter he talks about on this site too!
