Dr. Melba Ketchum sets aside NDA to reassure everyone that Adrian Erickson and her are still friends [Bigfoot DNA Study]
Screen grab from the Erickson Project Matilda the sleeping sasquatch |
Thanks to everyone for letting us know about this latest update from the Melba Ketchum camp. As we reported a few weeks ago, Adrian Erickson's website "Sasquatch The Quest" was shutdown for no known reason. Some have speculated bickering and infighting between Dr. Ketchum's group and the Erickson Project. One rumor suggested that Adrian Erickson was pulling out and quitting Bigfoot for good.
This latest update from Dr. Melba Ketchum's Facebook page tells a different story.
Melba Ketchum
For all of the people speculating on the Erickson project, Adrian and I have agreed to set aside the NDA to tell you that his group is a successful participant in this project. His research project to obtain the DNA samples is separate from us. His samples will be in the paper along with all of the successful submitters. And, yes, his great footage will come out so lets let all of the rumors go, OK? And once again, please know that we are at the mercy of the journal as to when we can announce. Thanks!

Bull shit didn't she just say last week there wasn't going to be any journal involved at first just the paper, then maybe a journal. The first rule in feeding people a line of crap is remembering the lies you told people so you don't get caught later on. Busted. Just stop the profile hungry shit and present your evidence.
ReplyDeleteThis is good news! So much speculation going on these days. There is no reason to be skeptical of this study until the paper is released. There are a lot of people involved with a lot at stake here. Businesses, reputation, family.....ect. I hope everyone takes a seat, and waits for the results. These people are not your average bigfooters and deserve a little better than what have been getting.

@1st annon.
ReplyDeleteIt was always going to be peer reviewed, and if I'm not mistaken, any peer review will involve a journal. (Same diff I think, someone correct me if I'm wrong). So to me, the story from their end hasn't changed at all.
Paul
Paul, I second what you said in terms of patience and a paper is the individual article in a peer reviewed journal. Otherwise a paper published independently is worthless in science.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what Lindsay thinks of all this?
It's funny how everyone always gives her the benefits of doubt, because of her business and reputation. But correct me if I'm wrong but Biscardi was involved with all the Georgia Boy crap and he's still doing pretty good, even after all the hoax shit.... So what does any of that mattress to her. Just look at Biscardi he's still running things same as usual. Don't give me that weak ass pat her on the head it'll be ok it won't be her fault bull.
ReplyDeleteSomeone here needs to educate themselves about how scientific papers are reviewed and processed before they are published. You really are making a complete ass of yourself with your ignorance and nonsense. Ready to eat crow? Or is that you just prefer to run off at the mouth before engaging brain. Very tiresome is what it is.

What does Mr. Erickson have to say?
ReplyDeleteOkay - so she is capable of making a statement at someone's urging...about something rather innocuous.
ReplyDeleteNow, how about a statement regarding the Sierra Kills?
I'm wondering if this whole thing would have to be coordinated with the government. You know there is no way that they wouldn't be involved if they thought this project was going to release something they weren't ready to prepare for. The minute it's released, BF teams will be popping up faster than ghost hunting groups after Ghost Hunters came on TV. Self-professed hunters will hit the hills in the regions the samples were taken. It reminds me of that scene in Jaws when the reward goes out and the harbor fills with yahoos with guns and boats.
ReplyDelete@Autmn, so graphic, so early! ya...it would be sad.
ReplyDelete@apehuman, yup. A little bit of psychic insight leaks out now and then in my examples. It's human nature. When Ghost Hunters went on-air, every bored middle-ager came rushing out of the woodwork and made sites scared to let any hunters in anymore when they partied down with beers and ran up and down hotel hallways with instruments screaming that something evil was chasing them. I can't wait until those shows sink. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteRe: Benefit of the doubt
ReplyDeleteThat's not the way science works. You disbelieve a claim (especially something outrageous like sasquatch) until it is proven to be true. Not the other way around.
So, no. I won't believe. Not until the claims are proven.
Sciatic Pain, what do you want to know?
ReplyDeleteI don't have good connections at the Erickson Project anymore. Erickson doesn't want anyone writing two words about the EP that's not released by him, and that includes me.
Yeah thats probley the best thing they could have ever done. Stopping creeps like you from tarnishing there creditability, yes miss robert lindsay I said creep.
DeleteThe government has anticipated this for a while. Please look at the recent Scientific American episode on PBS related to the "hidden canyon" The government has purchased a canyon in a remote part of Utah because of "untouched" indian village remains which date back 1000 years. So nobody knew about this area and the villages until now? The private citizen who just recently decided to sell had no idea about what was in this canyon owned for years? The show goes into detail of how strange the layout of this village was as well. The person who owned the land had protected the sasquatch who lived there for years, something very common and why a debate still exists as to if they are real. He had nobody to pass the responsibility onto and the government has been buying these lands to preserve and protect them.
