Did anyone notice the BFRO's new website banners? (Updated)

Have you visited the BFRO's website lately? Their whole theme is still dark and mysterious, but their banner now cycles through 3 different images. When you refresh the page, sometimes you'll get a Sasquatch in the snow (they named this one Mammoth), a Sasquatch mask/face (Merge), or a thermal image of a Sasquatch in the forest (Bionics).

Currently for us, the top of the page is sporting something that looks like a Native American Sasquatch mask carving merged with Bigfoot's face.

We welcome the new banner designs, but why does the website still have to look dark and mysterious? How about a friendlier design, Matt?

Update: Rictor and Matt said these banners are nothing new. However, Matt did not comment on the dark and mysterious look of his website.

    I'm with you. It's like Syfy's view of BF. I would like to see a nature conservancy feel with all the critters of the forest and a BF lurking amongst them.

    To be honest I like the merge banner.Well,I like the concept.Too bad they didn't take it in a friendlier direction.

    I'm overwhelmed by the sheer number of people commenting about my banners. The issue must really have America on the edge of its seat, judging by the utter explosion of Internet chatter about it... I'm expecting a call from Megyn Kelly any minute now.

Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. Bigfoot injured by a forest fire was taken away and hidden by the authorities, not even Robert Lindsay can top this story

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns".
