Robert Lindsay insists the Erickson Project's footage of Bigfoot will be released, quotes Bigfoot sample smells like wild boar

Matilda the sleeping sasquatch

Ever since the Erickson Project's website was taken down last Thursday, Adrian Erickson has yet to make a public statement. Understandably, people who have followed the project for years are pretty upset. The only news we've been getting is from a source of Robert Lindsay. This source tells Lindsay that PhD wildlife biologists Dr. John Bindernagel and Dr. Leila Hadj-Chikh have both seen the Bigfoots many times with their own eyes. They have shot enough video of these creatures and are convinced that what they saw were real Bigfoots.

"Is it possible that Pfohl and Hadj-Chikh misidentified existing animals, say bears, as Bigfoots? I do not believe that is is possible either. Further, Hadj-Chikh has a PhD in evolutionary biology. I trust she knows a bear when she sees one," wrote Lindsay.

Robert also quotes the Sierra Kills Bigfoot shooter Justin Smeja about the sample he sent to Dr. Melba Ketchum:
Smeja says that the sample he has smells like wild boar. As he knows what a boar smells like, that is probably an accurate assumption.

Smeja’s sample was sent out for analysis, but it came back as having excessive contamination. Smeja by this time had salted the sample to preserve it, and this may have disturbed it. Wally Hersom was nonplussed. “We have tested that thing eight different times with eight different labs,” he said. “We know what it is.” Hersom implied that the sample had tested positive for Bigfoot in 8 different tests from 8 different labs. We know that other sources have definitely implied that Smeja’s sample tested positive for Bigfoot.

Smeja reported that the nuclear side of the Bigfoot genome was “1/3 of the way from a human to a chimpanzee,” but he implied that he did not understand what that meant. This is the very same figure that I quoted earlier. My source was someone high up in the Bigfoot world who is close to Melba Ketchum. The quote probably came from Ketchum. If true, that would mean that the nuclear side of the Bigfoot line split off ~2 million years ago.

Here's part of the article titled "Bigfoot News November 14, 2011" posted by Robert Lindsay today:

On the issue of whether or not Erickson’s video is a hoax or there is nothing in it or it does not even exist at all. None of this is true. A source has seen the video, and it is definitely real. My source also said that it is at least as good as the Patterson footage, if not better. I believe my source.

This person also spoke at length with Dennis Pfohl. Pfohl shot video at all of the habituation sites. He saw and shot video of the Bigfoots many times. Leila Hadj-Chikh was also present a number of the habituation sites and she also saw the Bigfoots many times. However, she is not speaking on the record about them because her career as a PhD biologist is just getting started, and she does not want to jeopardize it with public statements about such a controversial issue.

I do not believe that Pfohl and Hadj-Chikh are lying, and I do not believe that Erickson, Pfohl and Hadj-Chikh were hoaxing. To me, that’s not a possibility.

Is it possible that Pfohl and Hadj-Chikh misidentified existing animals, say bears, as Bigfoots? I do not believe that is is possible either. Further, Hadj-Chikh has a PhD in evolutionary biology. I trust she knows a bear when she sees one.

Is it possible that the project was hoaxed, that is, at all of the sites, there were guys running around in monkey suits in the woods hoaxing the team? As we know that the team was not hoaxing and we know that they saw something in woods that looked like a Bigfoot, this is the only other possibility that makes any sense.

But the habituation sites are all on private property, and trespassers are not allowed. In some of those areas, there is nearly a shoot on site rule in place. Shoot first, ask questions later. Trespassers are essentially nonexistent on the five US sites on private property. So it’s not possible that guys in monkey suits were running around in the woods playing the team.

This leaves us with the only possibility – that these were real Bigfoots at those sites. Furthermore, samples from all six of the sites tested positive as coming from Bigfoots.

Dr. John Bindernagel, PhD wildlife biologist, was flown in to the Crittenden site by Erickson. While there, Bindernagel saw his first Bigfoot with his own two eyes. As a wildlife biologist, we are sure that he did not misidentify a common animal. Nor is Bindernagel a hoaxer. After Bindernagel saw the Bigfoot, he changed his mind about Bigfoot. He has written books saying that Bigfoot is an ape. He now feels that they are some sort of hominids.

Dennis Pfohl is running into problems in his life. He worked for Erickson for a few years, but now that job is over. He also runs a small business on the side. However, word got out in the town where he lives that he is involved in Bigfoot research, and as a result, his business has taken a hit as skeptics boycott him on the grounds that he’s a Bigfoot nut.

The BFRO is a very secretive and paranoid organization. They are dedicated to being the first group to find Bigfoot. One interesting thing about them is that they have a lot more evidence than they release. I have been told that they much better videos and photos than they have released to the public, but they are not releasing them for this or that, possibly proprietary, reason.

A source gave the BFRO some excellent samples of Bigfoot hair a while back. After some time, he asked for it back, but they said that they had lost it. The source said that he thought that the BFRO stole the sample and then lied and said that they lost it. This is certainly possible, and it is par for the course for these characters. If I had any evidence at all, I would not give it to the BFRO.

Part of Jason Smeja’s 8 pound slab of Bigfoot thigh was submitted to outside sources for analysis. One of these experts was Jeff Meldrum. Meldrum did not understand the hair on the sample, as he felt that Bigfoots have only one stage hair. However, I feel that they have 2-stage hair, an undercoat and guard hairs. Meldrum said it is possible that we do not understand Bigfoot hair very well.

Smeja probably cannot release his eight pounds of Bigfoot thigh, or his entire juvenile Bigfoot body, if indeed he has one as some say that he does. Due to the NDA that he signed with Ketchum, if he releases that sample or body to the public, she may be able to sue him for violation of the NDA. So Smeja is screwed in sense. He is sitting on these samples, or possibly a body, one of the greatest discoveries in science, and he can’t do a thing with it.

A source has been setting up camera traps for Bigfoots somewhere in Canada, but the Bigfoots keep taking the cameras and turning them around so that people can’t take pictures of them. Although this sounds very strange and almost unbelievable, the Olympic Project has been reporting this behavior privately for a very long time. It’s a long-standing problem with their project – the Bigfoots turning the cameras the opposite way so as not to get their picture taken.

  1. Yawn...

If you have video evidence thats 'better' than the Patterson film and you 'know' its real and not faked, PRESENT IT.

    Period.

I loved this bit: "Hersom implied that the sample had tested positive for Bigfoot in 8 different tests from 8 different labs. "

    Tested positive for Bigfoot?!?!

So Bigfoot has already been proven to exist and there is a DNA database to compare it with?

I'm as interested in this topic as much as the next guy but all this secrecy lends itself to hoax. People here are so ready to believe this stuff that ANYTHING put out there gets this attention. I can easily understand how people would fake evidence just to rattle the cages of the true believers.

There's NO WAY someone has video evidence that's 'better' than the Patterson film and they are just sitting on it. Video's come a LONG way since 1967.

Present your evidence or shut the hell up.

  2. "...tested positive for bigfoot"? How does one do that? I swear, this is getting to be more like gossip about the Kardashians. I don't take it with a grain of salt anymore, I use the whole damn shaker. We don't know until we know. So, for now, I'll let people flap their jaws and when the shit hits the fan and we find out the "results," I'll see who was speaking accurately beforehand and who was just passing around rumor. Then, I know who to trust in the future as a source of accurate info. Keep it up, Shawn. Love this blog. Seriously my daily staple.

  3. ..."A source has been setting up camera traps for Bigfoots somewhere in Canada, but the Bigfoots keep taking the cameras and turning them around so that people can’t take pictures of them."...

Sheesh, Ok, easy common sense fix. Set up two cameras facing one another. No way to approach either one without the other taking a photo/video of the camera flipper. Could also mount the camera trap backwards, then Mr. Big comes along and flips it over he gets his mug shot taken. My assumption is that they can see the infrared and instinctively avoid it or are compelled to disable it. Presumably they then sneak up on the backside of the camera to disrupt it and block the light by using the old reacharound. Any industrious person would learn from this behavior and capitalize on it. In a sense, the light from the infrared or perhaps the camera itself becomes bait.

I trapped furbearers for years as a boy, it was a cat and mouse game with some of the more clever critters like raccoons and foxes. As I matured, I came to realize that letting the creatures thrive was more valuable to me than the money their hides were worth or the meat my family got from them. I no longer trap anything...Well, OK, I hate moles and mice, but other than that, no trapping. My point is that saying "they always do xxxx" is really a cop-out. You are a human, use your brain, figure out what they are doing and counter the behavior with intelligent redeployments. I know there are motion sensitive HD video cameras that work in low light conditions. couple one of these to a hidden car battery and you have a good solution with a long run time. The assembly can be tested to see if it emits infrared light or high pitched sounds that the BF's can hear before deployment. I am guessing such a device would run 5-7 days on the average car battery. It could be placed high in a tree or in a hollow in the ground.

Could also hide a camera very carefully, then use another decoy camera to to draw the subject into range. Or put it in a lone tree facing downwards with bait hanging beneath it. Come on people, use your brains! it may not be easy, but it can be done.

  6. Not totally falling off yet, Ape. I think there is still promise with all this. Just gonna take some more patience. (again)

What really excited me though, was when I was reading the full article by Robert Lindsay, He made reference that 5 out of the six habitation sites that were used have now been abandoned by the "big guy".........but one of them still remains active! Woohoo. Its the one close to Maple Ridge BC, Golden Ears Provincial Park! This is a vast wilderness preservation area, And should provide some great adventures for those who seek them. (maybe me)

  8. yes, paul..so now..think like a human, who lives and must raise their baby in a forest without significant material culture..and you have it. pretty much all the response to the ecosystem and each other you would expect from yourself...while trying to remain hidden b/c your tribe cannot/does not join with the small hairless ones!

So, how does one cross, safely such deep cultural divides? And familirazation could be a very costly, especially to youth,. The people who will connect may already have. We just aren't listening b/c the have been villified in many cases by this very weird world of push and shove, money, etc.

I really can't wait Paul to hear...pick a nursery tune and learn it well. I will calm you down too!

  9. I thought I posted..but this wireless connect must be wacky

I am going to give the benefit of the doubt here b/c of my beleif that LS is sincere and probably has the real deal..ffor the reason cited in prior posts. However, good or not, I can see wanting a critical review befre having it completly maligned in the net. And if "bad" well off so as to save any credibility of LS's DNA sample submission...

so, if's it "good" LS will let us know...but LOL yes, it may disapear with the "study" until released!

I am so hoping it is the real deal...and a 7' old tired, hungardy H.sapiens hirstuii was checking if any wet cat food out tonight!

  10. shoot...those above posts were to go on LS's thing...MAN Shawn this blog ROLLS!

  11. Hey Ape, Have you seen the side by side photo of the LS creature and himself. To me, those pictures show two completely different facial structures. If his story is "true", that picture seals the deal.

  12. it did occur to me: Ep has to "re-cut" the footage b/c liberally referring to the DNA Study but also using comments like "hybrid" and "apehuman" or "relic human,"....that won't fly with a Homo spiens hirstuii designation now will it? I mean all of a sudden Finding Bigfoot is really a bunch of guys running around chasing wild humans...for sport! LOl

I don't imagine any of the BIGFOOT HUNT TV show producers were happy this am...

And so the long drawn out "proving" beginsBEGINS...

as you already see, some of the loudest to complain that 'science" won't look are already crying foul... or developing ideas tha perhaps there is "another Bigfoot Monster" besdies this one....

or of course, they will simply say human contamination and won't listen to "science"

So I think we are on the verge of a paradigm shift in BF reserch..and 50 years over due!

  13. Once again, please take what a racist pedophile, like Robert Lindsay, says on his blog with a grain of salt. Read the other parts of his blog before you put so much stock in what he says. Is this really someone you feel would help the validity of this subject? John

  14. Paul I saw it on net when LS uploaded and it fit my own ideas of "SAS"..and knowing LS figure he didn't put up as hoax (and must know couple too small, etc)...so! I missed the high res version this morn..but got a note from an "un-beleiver" who saw it...wish I had...so we will see!

bty he has some good sound loaded on his blog

  15. The lesson I've learned here is IF I found any possible BF tissue, hair, blood etc.,take it to the University.
I have enough connections that I might be able to find someone within.
The University of Calgary has done some amazing things and has a great record.
I certainly wouldn't schlep it off to any of the latest "in the news" people.
Because of all the posts here over the last week,I have sure gained a lot of knowledge,so it isn't entirely bad for me.
I wish I could say the same about the BF community.

  17. So far, it would seem that it's the Bigfoot footage story that smells like wild boar.

  18. Smeja whittled a piece of wild boar leg off of a carcass and then submitted it to be tested. Ketchum used it to make bacon and fried it with some snipe eggs and had breakfast.....the old man in the photo is lost, looking for his pet wild boar Wilburn. (Not realizing that Smeja had kilt his piggy and sent some of the hock to Ketchup as a fancy gift ) Erickson was in on the whole thing because he loves fried wild boar, so he is now in hiding.

There you have it in a nut shell. It all makes since to me now.

  19. Wait a second. How could Bigfoot have any awareness of photography and camera technology? There is absolutely no way this creature could even grasp the concept. I am honestly beginning to feel a bit ridiculous for being a Sasquatch buff.
How could it know it's picture is being taken if it doesn't know what a picture is? How could it know the function of a lens? Honestly this is just embarrassing .

    ReplyDelete
  20. I don't think that it is too far-fetched to imagine that sasquatch could figure out what a camera is for. Think about it, in the remote reaches the two most common types of humans it may encounter would be hunters and wildlife photographers. If it has a language and communicates it would share the knowledge w/others.

And you can call Lindsay a racist, pedophile all you want. He has been right and broke all this stuff about the Sierra Shootings. He has been the one that forced this out into the open and made people involved do some damage control.
