Arizona Wildfires Threaten Bigfoot Research Area

BIGFOOT TERRITORY UP IN SMOKE

The second-largest fire in Arizona history grew to 430,000 acres Saturday from about 386,000 Thursday. Mitch says five out of the seven active Bigfoot areas is now torched. That's the bad news. The good news is that for the first time since it started, firefighters were able to contain parts of Arizona's Wallow fire, according to officials. Firefighters were able to gain a toehold in the fire because the blustery winds that were pushing it calmed down, allowing firefighters to set preventive burns and cut firebreaks in its path.

Such a tragedy. We truly hope the Sasquatch were able to get away.
