Ketchikan Alaskan Bigfoot Mystery Solved?

The AlaskaDispatch recieved an email from a man who claim to know want really went down on that day Bigfoot was spotted in a little Southeast Alaska town of Ketchikan. According to the email from Bob Weinstein, who lives in Ketchikan, that was actually someone dressed up in a costume... and on stilts! A photo of the Bigfoot was taken inside the Arctic Bar & Liquor Store on Water Street, the same time the YouTube video was put up. I wonder what kind of beer he was having; Sierra Nevada's Bigfoot?
Ketchikan is known for its thriving arts and crafts scene, including an annual party called the Wearable Art show that's been going on for some 25 years. Was the Bigfoot in the video a local just having fun scaring the bejeezus out of little old ladies and unsuspecting kids? Who knows. Summer tourism season is just around the corner.

that might be the dumbest video ive ever seen....i had a bigfoot experience not too long ago and i didnt even see the thing i just heard it and me and my friend immediately went in the other direction...this guy just keeps following the thing around like its no biggie
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't "follow it around like its no biggie", the guy is trying to figure out what he is looking at and when he kinda does, he freaks out and calls for his friend whilst running away. His reaction is way too sincere to be a hoax. And the picture of the guy in the suit at the bar, looks NOTHING like whats in the video. And nobody could move through the Alaskan wilderness in an ape suit and stilts! And even if someone COULD...in Alaska? Come On!! You would have a pretty good chance of getting your head blown off. Everyone up there has guns.
ReplyDeleteI don't know. It looks more interesting than most videos of this variety. However, it's an interesting point of observation that you have a good chance getting your head blown off in a costume in the wilderness...unless apparently you are actually Bigfoot, then you never get shot. That seems like a contradiction.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it has thick fur, but Bigfoot, as a primate, is thought to have hair.
Interesting...yes. Conclusive...no. Like all of these Bigfoot videos, unfortunately.
Also, at first he must have thought it was a bear, or could have been a bear...a big brown bear. So I'm thinking he would have been more cautious if that was the case, and not even filmed it so close, but rather made tracks before it got closer...no?
I agree with the second anonymous poster. Also in the total video you can see eyes blinking from another creature to the right after the main one has disappeared.
