Bigfoot Event In North Carolina
Bigfooters are coming to the Lexington Library in North Carolina. The group Bigfoot 911 will be on hand to share evidence and answer questions.
Some are steadfast in their belief that Bigfoot, an enormous bipedal, ape-like creature, traverses the forests in secrecy, hoping that he will never be outed by humans.
For those who believe — and also for those who are a bit skeptical — the Lexington Public Library is hosting a presentation from Bigfoot 911, a research group based in Marion. The event is scheduled for Dec. 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. No registration is required. The program is for all ages.
John Bruner, the founder, and some other members of Bigfoot 911 will discuss the history of Bigfoot in North Carolina, Bigfoot sightings in the state and related folklore and evidence of Bigfoot’s existence.
Julie Johnson, the adult services librarian at the Lexington Library, said she discovered the Bigfoot 911 group in May when she attended the Days of the Dead convention in Charlotte.
The Bigfoot research group put on a PowerPoint presentation and question-and-answer session.
