Bigfoot Headed To Texas

Don't miss out on the upcoming Texas Bigfoot Conference in Jefferson, Texas. This is one of the best conferences out there, and if you can, you need to try and be there.

Jefferson, the official Bigfoot capital of Texas — thanks to a spring proclamation from the city’s mayor — is once again gearing up for the annual Texas Bigfoot Conference at the Jefferson Visitor’s Center on Oct. 19 and 20.

Conference founder Craig Woolheater said on Monday that this year’s conference comes just one day after the 87th birthday of noted Bigfoot filmmaker Bob Gimlin, who on Oct. 20, 1967 filmed the most notorious shot of Bigfoot ever caught on film with buddy Roger Patterson in Bluff Creek, California.

“Bob Gimlin’s 87th birthday is on Thursday and that Friday night, we will have a catered dinner with him, in his honor,” Woolheater said. “The House of Seasons is sponsoring his trip here for the conference.”

Tickets are on sale now for the Friday dinner which will be catered by the Claiborne House Bed and Breakfast and will feature an Italian inspired spread.
