ROTC used to weed out the weak by telling their college cadets on a full ride, that Bigfoot was real. And then they went into their paranormal aspects. If they started balling like babies, they were booted from ROTC.
"Sasquatch declared to exist by the military" is misleading as they did no such thing. They simply wanted to add a little interest to the publication by mentioning the legend. Back at that time someone in the right position with the Corps could have been sympathetic to the idea of Bigfoot's existence and wouldn't discount the possibility allowing it to be published as such. After all these years without it being proven I'm sure any modern day inclusion would be much more lighthearted.
Wow, see why these skunks need to be shunned? As soon as someone says anything against bigfoot they go and call them pedo, this again is proof that Iktomi started doing this because he was losing an argument about bigfoot, shun these deranged skunks
Wow how impressive. A publication put out 44 YEARS ago and nothing further forthcoming. Nothing more from the Corps of Engineers or any government body citing proof of it's existence. Gee, how about an update or are footers satisfied with that stagnant old crusty tome.
I guess they better be because they're never going to get anything better.
Hey Pedo Stu, you are called Pedo Stu because on three occasions you have threatened the children of posters here because guess what? You were losing an argument about Bigfoot. You wanted to stop freedom of speech around here, because it threatened your precious way of seeing the world, like a proper little coward. That’s your fault, so at least be man enough behind anonymity to take responsibility for that. And a fantasy version about the intentions of the people who made that Atlas, with no proof, no references, no substance... would never win an argument in any adult debate about any subject on the planet. The facts are the army corpse of engineers listed Bigfoot in their Atlas as the animals to expect in that part of the US, even referenced hair samples that were found. Facts.
And to your 44 years since. It’s pretty simple... all the engineers in the world can point to sightings and corroborating evidence, but they’re not put on this planet to conduct biological field studies. That’s a whole different field of expertise. And until there is one to classify “Bigfoot”, then people like me have 44 years of this physical evidence since to point to, accompanying eyewitness testimony, hair samples, audio, footage, thermal... all the things that shouldn’t be there if something like Bigfoot didn’t exist.
If I really wanted attention... I’d spend 24/7 on a blog that’s catered for the total antithesis of this one.
Know what I mean, PS?
No, you’re just getting your backside handed to you, like these social forums allow for. Your feelings mean nothing. You being offended for the sake of facts, isn’t important.
Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
Editor's Note: This is a guest post by Suzie M., a sasquatch enthusiast. Crypto-linguists believe that the species known Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti/Yowie ect speak and understand a complex language, which by all accounts seems to stem from Asia. When one listens to it there is definitely a sense of it being Chinese or Japanese. It is a very odd mix of sounds, clicks and what could be actual words. This is the reason some experts are looking into the Asian dialect theory, some have said it could be a lost dialect, which was carried from Asia by the Bigfoot species that colonised America.
This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns". Sadly, there was no DNA samples taken from
