Two elk hunters have a startling bigfoot encounter, when a sasquatch runs out in front of them in the Tony Groves region of Utah. Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization reports:
OK, the above is not me, though I appreciate the First for Iktomi. I never put a space between the two words. I'll start using my verified account soon. - BigfootStudent
Hey Bigfoot Student! You'd be better off doing that for sure. The resident nut job likes to practice strange attention exercises when he's not pretending to be two people talking to one another.
No No No ,Bigfoot Student!! you're much better off learning the "WONDER'S OF SASQUATCHERY" from us Real Reaserchers! after all Ikphoney is just a little WANNABE FROM San Francisco..Trust me bigfoot student ALL IKPHONEY Wants is to see you BEND OVER AND PICK UP A NICKEL OFF THE GROUND!!!------FACT!!
Total waste of people's time! You need to give credit where credit is due Iktomi! RMSO is doing NOTHING to prove the existence of the species...NOTHING!
QUESTION: Why is video after video posted here of Shaw telling old stories and showing nothing when Dr. Squatch has lots of videos which never get posted? At least he has SOMETHING to show.
What's this? Some kind of scenic video with a Bigfoot tale told by Kelly Shaw about a guy named Trace which happened back in 1979 and presented under the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Banner? Isn't Shaw the guy who hates that bookshop owner?
..We all agree the sighting records are littered with reports founded on lies, mis-ids, and wishful thinking...The disagreement is as to what %..It is therefore useful to attempt to ferret out a collection of compelling reports..We do not need 10,000 reports: we need 10 from reputable, experienced people willing to undergo scrutiny... EEG
The most compelling bigfoot report was shown on an episode of finding bigfoot. They some how got the biggest skeptard to come on national tv & not only admit bigfoot was real. He even admitted he had a bigfoot encounter himself! If strutalfart has had a bigfoot experience then science has to accept the fact that bigfoot is real! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2jY-djy-xA&t=4s
..Hi Joe..To tell you the truth: No..Where can I find an article or book that documents these cases..It should include interviews where the witness is encouraged to convince people they had a clear view of a bigfoot..In other words, they should own the account...
^^^ Well Dumbass, if you go to the BFRO, ,you can read the reports by the thousands. In these reports you will find witnesses cover a large range of society. Doctors, lawyers military(ex and current, psychologists, ministers, game wardens, ranchers, natives Americans, Forestry workers, biologists, geologists -------------------------- and so on.
Joe, you often refer to 3 data bases..I assume you include Green's and the BFRO's, but I dont know the third..What is it?..Thanks..And I read the work done recently by tech-heads on Green's base is excellent..I will check it out..
On the subject of eyewitnesses I wrote a previous post which has mysteriously disappeared in response to lktomi quoting the following:
"Witness testimony can be tested and assessed for reliability. Examples of approaches to testing and assessment include the use of questioning, evidence of corroborating witnesses, documents, video and forensic evidence." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anecdotal_evidence
He further added: "The above extract pretty much articulates the situation for "Bigfoot" perfectly."
Well then - case closed. The mystery is solved. We have the eyewitness accounts, we have the forensic evidence and we surely have lots of video. Even I could make up a convincing report of my own, could fake some tracks and report it to the BFRO and it would probably go down as just another Bigfoot story. People do misidentify, exaggerate, imagine, lie and even hoax so it's evident that eyewitnesses alone will never be a convincing argument to prove it exist. So we need a specimen. Then lktomi writes:
"The fact that no one can produce a specimen lies with the fact that there has been no professional long term effort to do so."
I take that as not having much faith in all the Bigfoot researchers who have spent considerable time and resources, armed with modern technology if he calls for professionals to come in to prove it. What about all these pro-Bigfoot professionals he always champions. Can't they make a long-term unified effort at tracking down these creatures or are they too busy attending Bigfoot conferences and collecting fees?
You could make up a report of your own, sure, you can't fake forensic evidence. Period. People do indeed misidentify, exaggerate, imagine, lie and even hoax... But for the frequency of multi-cultural and contemporary reports to be the product of that, is an incredible leap of faith. It takes one eyewitness report to match the physical evidence, and it's sealed. Well, in the real world it is anyway. And again, anecdotes alone are neither being presented as proof, nor are they the mere brunt of the current state of evidence. You chronically special plead.... Again. It doesn't go away the more you don't acknowledge it I'm afraid.
"I take that as not having much faith in all the Bigfoot researchers..." Actually, I applaud the amateur researchers who've accumulated the track castings, footage, thermal hits, audio, hair samples... Unfortunately, to track something that evades as well as this creature clearly does, you need a LOT of time, expertise and professionally funded resources. Only people who are employed in this manner are gonna be able to apply such.
"What about all these pro-Bigfoot professionals he always champions. Can't they make a long-term unified effort at tracking down these creatures?" ... Um, no... because they have full time jobs. Might I remind you (for the tenth time), that it took a year to track down the Bili Ape. Katy Gonder PhD, Biological Anthropologist, had been tracking and studying a group of chimpanzees in the wild for 20 years... In that time she'd only actually had "very fleeting glimpses" of them about 10 times. And just as typically rhetorical as you like to be, every time they try and fund extra research, they're branded as money-grabbers. Scientists & authors have always toured seminars for their hard work, and if more people want to attend and pay then this is evidence of their ideas becoming more accepted. The finances to fund more research aren't coming from anywhere else.
Sorry to bore you lktomi. I suppose I could join the trolls and post piss on you comments if that's more interesting ;)
I agree you can't fake forensic evidence which is possibly why Bigfoot remains unproven to this day.
"It takes one eyewitness report to match the physical evidence, and it's sealed."
Well, Patterson had another witness, casts of footprints and best of all video - not so sealed?
I think most would agree there's a big difference in tracking down something in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (not the most inviting place) and the continental US. After that year long expedition they had all the proof required - eh, how long have we been looking for Bigfoot here in the US?
What would satisfy you requirement for a professional serious search? Now it would make more sense to me if all Bigfoot advocates would come together and demand a full out search by professionals. Power in numbers you know. But I see such infighting among advocates (some right here on this very site) that sometimes I think the believers are as fractured as our political system and they will never agree on anything.
Seriously - what do you think is a reasonable amount of time to prove that Bigfoot exists? Taking into account our reducing wilderness and our ever increasing technology.
Forensics has been utilised to demonstrate dermatoglyphics exist in casts. Even though you don’t have a means of classifying what that primate is, the objective outcome is you still have the anatomical impression of an unclassified bipedal primate that can not only be falsifiably tested to scientific standards, but requires the same level of further investigation as the Bili Ape had. However, AND WHAT'S VERY IMPORTANT HERE, is the extraordinary nature of what this evidence entails is in fact what's holding back the requirement of subsequent mainstream investigative measures. It means that until extraordinary evidence surfaces (a body), the subject isn't going to draw the attention of a majority of mainstream scientists who would only THEN be in a position to become aware of the many evidences that preceded it. Without this, few will see beyond the hoaxing and pop culture. It's a very detrimental circle that can be simplified as the requirement of extraordinary evidence without the extraordinary effort it would require to source it. The cart before the horse... And pretty much why no pieces of footage (PGF), with any frequency of witnesses present to authenticate it will not suffice.
And NOPE!! You need to better understand the geography & terrain of the US. For example... There are 73 aircraft since WW2, from Northern California to Alaska that have been totally lost. That was an official Federal Aviation Administration figure in the 1990's. And wreckage doesn't move around and evade calculatively. A very experienced hunter of the of the name of John W Jones perfectly articulated in once, in saying that New York State has the biggest concentration of black bears in the US. But he knows hunters who've never seen one in 20 years of hunting. Also... Are you aware of the type of people and credentials that were involved in the discovery of the Bili Ape? Could you point to one example where the same consorted professional effort has been applied to using the physical evidence to track "Sasquatch"? Nobody has put a single comparative year's long expedition together, but just like the Bili Ape, experienced outdoorsman, highly successful in their resident terrain are reporting it all the same.
I think I've put into context what I would expect to see in a worthy effort.
This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns". Sadly, there was no DNA samples taken from...
Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
Editor's Note: This is a guest post by Suzie M., a sasquatch enthusiast. Crypto-linguists believe that the species known Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti/Yowie ect speak and understand a complex language, which by all accounts seems to stem from Asia. When one listens to it there is definitely a sense of it being Chinese or Japanese. It is a very odd mix of sounds, clicks and what could be actual words. This is the reason some experts are looking into the Asian dialect theory, some have said it could be a lost dialect, which was carried from Asia by the Bigfoot species that colonised America.
