Bear Slashes Open Camper's Head


You have to be careful when you're out looking for bigoot. There are plenty of dangerous things out there, even when they aren't trying to be.

A camper at the Millard Campground in Altadena, California, was attacked by a bear Saturday in his tent.

The victim told investigators he was lying down at the campsite looking at his iPad when the bear clawed his head.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m., according to the Altadena Sheriff's Station.

The man had a severe cut and needed 18 stitches.

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife ordered the park closed from 72 hours after the incident.
