  3. NO

    Bigfoot research has NOT advanced one jot in the past 50 years - let alone the last 10 - same old stories and blurry images of men in suits pretending to be a hairy creature...simple as THAT.

    3. Iktomi has adapted the "scientific" stance of all people who defend a religion and present that as science. Iktomi is asking you to prove something doesn't exist. Which is not how you begin a scientific statement. Furthermore said evidence presented is typical of all Bigfoot evidence in that it was presented by people with questionable motive and background. Paul Freeman was an admitted hoaxer, even Bigfoot experts at the time doubted his motive and intentions. The dermal ridges and sweat pores are a known artifact of plaster casting and has proven to have been such. And one of the leading experts on this case is none other than Dr. Jeff Meldrum who himself has been shown misleading people in his presentation of information. And is also the one responsible for vetting the infamous PGF film, which has since been shredded by real scientists and Meldrum stands as a living joke amongst his peers. Even people who work at his own university mock him and ask for his resignation. So these less than reputable experts are the ones who are providing the pillars of evidence holding the flimsy roof up in house of Sasquatch. Furthermore, surely you see the irony of an overweight old age man like Paul Freeman sneaking up on a Sasquatch carrying infants when you have people in the wilderness on months on end trying to find one and come up empty based on your false premise that they are masters of the forest and can avoid detection, yet are frequently detected. Statistically it is the realm of near impossibility that Sasquatch has been reported being seen so many times yet not yet captured. So as you can see, we do have the "monkey suit" so to speak, the monkey suit being the scientific evidence you cherry pick to fit your narrative of this creature of Indian lore being real. You should yourself, come out of your monkey suit Iktomi and admit that you have had an ever changing story through the years to maintain a lie to yourself that you have invested so much of your life studying something that isn't real. Although you always believe the discovery of Sasquatch is always right around the corner. The next big thing that is disproven or dismissed and you already have the next big hoax lined up for readers here. It will be, "you will see, soon" constantly through a ever changing story and narrative until the day you die.

    4. "In science, the burden of proof falls upon the claimant; and the more extraordinary a claim, the heavier is the burden of proof demanded. The true skeptic takes an agnostic position, one that says the claim is not proved rather than disproved. He asserts that the claimant has not borne the burden of proof and that science must continue to build its cognitive map of reality without incorporating the extraordinary claim as a new "fact". Since the true skeptic does not assert a claim, he has no burden to prove anything. He just goes on using the established theories of "conventional science" as usual. But if a critic asserts that there is evidence for disproof, that he has a negative hypothesis—saying, for instance, that a seeming psi result was actually due to an artifact—he is making a claim and therefore also has to bear a burden of proof."
      - Marcello Truzzi, On Pseudo-Skepticism, Zetetic Scholar, 12/13, pp3-4, 1987

      Freeman admitted to manufacturing a set of casts so that he could compare these to real ones, in order to show how the impression of toe bending could be achieved. The books Bigfoot of the Blues or Walla Walla Bigfoot (both authored by Vance Orchard) go at length regarding the Sasquatch in the Utimala range and Mill creek water shed areas, both were visited by Paul Freeman about five times a week after his encounter as a forestry worker. There are at least 15 to 20 people local to that area who had encountered Sasquatch, four of these became friends to Freeman and followed up on sighting reports and footprints. Any way, Freeman stated he made a fake track to see if indeed he could duplicate what they were finding and what this showed was a faked track could not achieve the same kind of movement shown with flexing over rocks and curling toes into mud and sticks. These are the types of people who are involved, people like Vance Orchard, not your average troll clinging to an edited piece of footage.

      Meldrum has people like the best conservationist in the world putting forwords in his book? Scientists conduct research and then form a conclusive hypothesis; this is a fundamental scientific principle. In Meldrum's case being an authority of evolutionary bipedalism; the probability that all the physical evidence he's collected being a hoax is more unbelievable than it being authentic in like with the reliable frequency of reports. From Hackworth's perspective, I think he's a tad bit jealous that someone on a fringe topic is doing a little better than him. Just take a little look at Meldrum's online journal editorial board;
      http://www.isu.edu/rhi/board.shtml
      .. None of them would be present if Meldrum wasn't respected by his peers, and I didn't read Hackworth's present one argument against his work.

      "If we can't prove his research wrong, let's find inconsistencies in his presentations, eh?" Career tarnishing (not). If you were an author and at the centre of a research field, you may get a little lazy and forget to update your touring discussion material, for dates that have already been booked in advance and left you with little time in a busy schedule to do so over a period of a few months, it means little about the credibility of said researcher and certainly doesn't mean he's not deserving of making some money from his hard work. People like the anon up top have to invest so much time and hard work looking for things like that as opposed to putting their efforts towards actually debunking his work.

    6. Jimmy Chulcutt is very adamant about the prints that he has verified, and though they are from different locations, they still have the same texture and ridge flow pattern, like a humans however twice the size. Chilcutt stated as plain as day that even Crowley (who's far more enthusiastic than what psuedosceptics would prefer) has stated that even he feels that Walla Walla casts are genuine (25mins in the link below). On the 36mins, Chilcutt explains that the faked dermals that Crowley sent him was covered in artificial ridge artefacts from the pouring process. The three casts in question that Chilcutt examined, they didn't have this... This is because when you are walking barefoot on the forest floor, the foot comes in contact with both fallen leaves and the soil in making an impression. Therefore, these artefacts would be present in consistency right across the different soil areas of the foot fall and they're not. The delta ridges on prints change directions over 45 degrees; they converge and deviate. This is a major indicator that the dermals are biological and as Chulcutt states, these do not appear on any of the artefacts.

      The delta ridges on prints with verified dermals are in fact very similar in places to modern homo sapiens, in that they change directions over 45 degrees; they converge and deviate. They still have the same texture and ridge flow pattern, like a humans but twice the size. There is however enough unique data in them to be considered an "unknown primate", which could imply a "different version of us", similar to us but different in it's unique morphology. Half way down this page;
      http://bigfootforums.com/index.php?/topic/32050-dermal-ridges-or-casting-artifact/
      ... Dermals in the actual impression. And half way down here;
      http://bigfootforums.com/index.php/topic/36334-suit-possibly-key-to-final-hoax-proof/page-5
      ... A comparison of casting artifacts and actual dermals. Artificial desiccation has it's own uniform style that does not match one school of alleged Sasquatch traits, whilst the only way to mimic dermals is under laboratory methods... Which the average anyone attempting to hoax wouldn't be aware of or have access to.

    8. Animals like chimps are not without fine motor skills. In fact a study found that a relatively new brain area, developed in humans and other primates, gives us all an advantage in this realm. More gray matter in humans means more motor neurons and having more motor neurons means more muscle control. Our surplus motor neurons allow us to engage smaller portions of our muscles at any given time. We can engage just a few muscle fibers for delicate tasks like threading a needle, and more for tasks that require more force. Since chimps have fewer motor neurons, each neuron triggers a higher number of muscle fibers and using a muscle becomes more of an all-or-nothing proposition. As a result, chimps often end up using more muscle than they need, but they can in theory lift about 16 people over their own head;
      http://youtu.be/w98mem4FVQ0

      ... Imagine what a primate three times the size of a chimp could achieve? If Sasquatch were to have the perfect blend of both human and wild animal attributes... They would have phenomenal strength and stealth abilities to be clear gone before we would even know they were there. All that, and they can also think like humans.

      This is why we have their forensic sign but not one in a zoo. Plenty of missing hunters remember.

      Oh... Did I ask... Got monkey suit?

    10. Alright, I'm going to weigh in too! About the dermal ridges, they have not ALL been shown to be attributable to casting artifacts. Specifically, the ridge like artifacts refer to the lateral friction ridges seen on a small number of casts. It does not explain the other ridge patterns on the surface of some prints. The person who did the research on casting artifacts, Matt Crowley, does not claim that his work debunks every aspect of the dermals. I know I'll take a beating for this, but I have my doubts about Freeman also...mostly due to the aberrant morphology of his finds. However, my doubts don't make some of the dermals worth consideration. It is worth noting that the Olympic Project has a number of track casts that have quality dermal impressions...without the lateral ridges ( the casting artifact ). There is enough data available to give it careful consideration. Also, Meldrum applauded Crowley's research, recognizing that it was an important contribution. My stance is that of man interested but uncommitted viewer.

  6. I have a friend who works for the C.I.A. who confirmed to me that the government has employed the use of Sasquatch for years in doing rudimentary government operations. One example would be trash pickup on the sides of roads. Many people think these are people doing community service but in fact are shaved Sasquatches in human clothing. Sasquatches also employ their cloaking abilities to do this work as well. So while it may appear that the wind is blowing a piece of trash down the highway it is actually a cloaked Sasquatch carrying the garbage. Unfortunately do to the undercover research of one "Dr. Squatch" and his whistle blowing of the "blue bag" phenomena the Government has to cease with all Sasquatch related government work in public and move them into hiding and have them increase their flatulence production to further their agenda of convincing the world that climate change is real. Sasquatches have also been advised to quit building houses by leaning trees together to avoid public detection but have yet to follow through with these orders as tree leaning is an integral part of Sasquatch culture and without it they would require Government assisted living. So I doubt you will see any decline in trees leaning on each other in the near future. The truth is out there people, it merely takes a brilliant mind to see through the lies the government and liberal media feed to you on a daily basis.
