Ohio Researcher Finds A Skull In A Tree

Tim Stover of the Ohio Bigfoot Hunters does a little daytime recon in an area looking for tracks and other sign of bigfoot. During his hike he finds something strange; a deer skull lodged in the fork of a tree. Seems kind of out of place doesn't it? But what put it there?

    1. GRAYs mark DNA extraction points, so it could be a GRAY marking the area for a return visit

  2. The most logical answer would be a human (Occam's Razor). That aside, it could have been any number of animals responsible for that skull ending up where it is.

  3. Every time I find a skull in the woods, I put it in a tree. Been doing it all my life. Couple dozen times at least in the last 35 years.

  6. No one put it there. The deer was using the tree as a rub and got stuck. Then he starved to death. Scavengers plucked away at the carcass and dragged it away over the months. Not a mystery. Happens all the time. I've found 3 deer skulls lodged between trees in my lifetime. Two had partial skeletons still attached and one a trail of bones leading 200 yards away.

    1. True. This does happen and is not all that uncommon. In this case, however, it appears to be a doe skull and therefore probably not stuck while rubbing the tree. Any number of natural or man influnced ways it could have gotten there. Nothing spectacular.
