When you see those nice, white bigfoot track casts in pictures and on video, they don't just come out of the ground that way. First they have to be cleaned. But cleaning them isn't as simple as it seems. A researcher doesn't want to lose any of the detail, or possible DNA evidence, such as hair fibers, that might be a part of the cast, so you literally have to go over them with a fine-toothed comb.
