    2. Wow-we~ A Academic nerd, that rarely leaves his campus, knows all about big foots, but knows little about woodland animals or woodsmenship.
If Dr. Meldrum was a seasoned hunter, than he may have some cred's. But an academic nerd no!.

    3. With that grammar, one can safely deduce that you're in need of at least some level of academic direction.

His research revolves around questions of vertebrate evolutionary morphology, especially primate locomotor adaptations. His formal study of primates began with doctoral research on terrestrial adaptations in African primates, and has since taken him from the dusty skeletal cabinets of far-flung museums to the remote badlands of Colombia and Argentina in search of fossil New World primates. He has published extensively on the evolutionary history of the South American primates and has described several new extinct species. He has documented varied primate locomotor specializations in laboratory and semi-natural settings. More recently his attention has returned to the emergence of modern human bipedalism. His co-edited volume, From Biped to Strider: the Emergence of Modern Human Walking, Running, and Resource Transport, proposes a more recent innovation of modern striding gait than previously assumed. As the acting director of the Center for Motion Analysis and Biomechanics (CMAB) he is collaborating with engineering faculty, paleontologists, and the Idaho Virtualization Lab, to model the pattern of evolution of the hominid foot skeleton.

... All highly relevant to the topic, I think you'll find.

    5. That's not true 7:16 about not leaving his campus. I hear he makes it out to Cabela's now and then.

    6. If someone wanted to pay me $1500-$5000 to talk about Big foot, then I will! Of course, just like Meldrum, I'd have to make things up to be convincing.
The money Meldrum gets from all his speaking arrangements is for his retirement funds
i'd bet that after his speaking appearance is done, he's laughing all the way home!

    7. Do you have any credientials to be mentioned in the same sentence as Meldrum, Einstein?

Actually... What was I thinking... ?

    8. Oh... And it might be news to you... But scientists get paid to speak publicly about their research.

    9. The site troll doesn't really know what Dr. Meldrum might or might not get for speaking. I've found he speaks "off the cuff" a lot, just saying whatever.

  2. Anyone ever wonder if Meldrum is just a slightly groomed white bigfoot?

  3. Yes. It's been proven that he is. Because science, public speaking, research, and " off the cuff". Gee wiz I feel smart about my words!

  4. The one thing that bugs me about this guy ( Meldrum ) is that he takes evidence that others that have given him and goes on these Bigfoot seminars and makes money off of it. I don't think if I am not mistaken he ( Meldrum ) has actually ever acquired any evidence himself form actually being in the field himself............
