The little lean-to structure is probably human made. It's close to human habitation, and there is 55 gal drum 40 feet away. The rest of the branches definitely look to be dead fall from snow/storms. It's this kind of supposed evidence that keeps Squatching a hobby instead of being research.
Maybe people did it. I'm not sure who would build such a shoddy lean to. There is a lot of other kinds of evidence; so, its odd to say this kind of thing makes it of none effect.
Stick structures are found in areas with other signs of BF habitation, sometimes weaved in such a way that its either man made or squatch made.
@haints, what do you mean use it? Its laughable to think they make structures like that to use. They make some kind of markers for unknown reasons where they lean, cross or weave sticks together.
If you put some kindling under it an lit a match. Like haints did you think this was supposed to be a shelter. They do build shelters, or blinds, but this is just stick formations.
@Daniel C. There's no corroborating evidence with that stick formation that I know of, DS might can shed light on that, but other areas of stick formations have evidence of BF activity. I made 17" long barefoot casts next to trees that had a whole lot of long branches, 12' to 15' long laid against trees. We had lots of other activity in this area.
Stick formations is something found in their areas. Some think they are marking their area, maybe giving warnings to stay out. It's not known.
Okay - now I understand that "Dr. Squatch" is DS who posts here. I was going to suggest the cause of these bends however the comment under the YouTube video has beat me to it. Why on earth would a Bigfoot bend these anyway??? There would be no practical reason for doing so. These videos by DS/Dr. Squatch lead me to believe that he wants Bigfoot to exist so badly he is interpreting mundane things as evidence. I suggested once before there are parallels with religion in regards to belief of Bigfoot and I believe it to be more true each day.
It's been rather obvious that DS really believes, therefore he attributes everything to Bigfoot. He seems like an OK guy but he has lost much objectivity.
I have no animosity towards anyone here but the "evidence" that I see here shown daily leaves much to be desired (regardless of what Joe claims). There is simply nothing here that could not have been done by man or nature. As for that video taken in Lettuce Lake Park it just proves once again to never underestimate the ability of hoaxers.
Speaking for myself I visit this site and others from time to time because I am fascinated by the psychological aspects of this belief. I was once a believer but the constant failure to produce a specimen while attributing abilities to explain why they can not be caught has made me realize that its like chasing a rainbow. I'm starting to wonder if the hunt is more important to some than the proof. It certainly seems that way for those who profit from it.
There is a fascinating aspect to the psychology of trolling also; Canadian psychologists are claiming it's akin to a personality disorder. Not that I'm being judgemental, however I do believe that it might be difficult to step outside of subjective standing regarding the state of evidence once you've made a decision to move away from enthusiasm, doubling back is not benificial towards preserving ego. Using a negative proof fallacy as reasoning; not too clever.
I find it quite remarkable how some people can do cartwheels around the evidence and then suggest that enthusiasm rests merely on belief, and that this is of psychological interest...
Those mythical critters sure can build nice. Better than a log cabin. Probably provides great protection against the super windchill and elements of that wilderness with apple trees. Them bigfeet must have high IQs huh?
You can't prove bigfoot or that bigfoot left or did anything.
That's why the field is classified as crypto and every item is considered a hoax or fabrication until proven other wise...because you start with reality and work your way toward asinine, not vice versa.
Joe, Joe, Joe...too much cheap booze finally took him down. All the guys in the shower will miss him.
No... What I can prove is an unknown primate left it; Occam's Razor time. The field is classed as "crypto" because we haven't bagged the primate to go with that evidence... But that doesn't mean the evidence stops being a realty, unless you're supressing it of course. Research or an investigation does not start at conclusion.
"every item is considered a hoax or fabrication until proven other wise"
"Otherwise" is one word and I would say biological traits consistent across States and decades, that have been verified to be just that by a long line of impartial forensic experts, is as good as it gets... Don't like it? Test it or lump it.
@Daniel C. that's a biased premise that everything called crypto is considered a hoax or a fabrication until proven otherwise. Its indicative of those who will rebuff any evidence, no matter what, until some official body of scientists tells them they can now accept it as real.
Iktomi, you don't just say Occams Razor and win. You don't even get to use it as proof to someone else. You can use it yourself in an honest attempt to decide how to proceed with an investigation... which hypothesis to test further. Apparently, you have already decided. You can stop invoking the name of Occam.
7:33... It helps if you take the time to read be comments of others before making yourself look ignorant (stupid), the reference to Occam's Razor is in respect to physical evidence, namely dermals, not these stick structures.
7:44...
"Science is founded on the premise that we exist in a rational reality and from this premise it follows that every scientific belief can and should be based on evidence, otherwise it is not science. To be completely clear as to what is science it can be defined in one simple sentence: science is the unbiased effort to understand reality based on the observable physical evidence."
Yes I do. Occam's Razor is a widely used scientific principle that fits this topic perfectly. When you have two verified sources that point to the same phenomena, then you throw out what's not and from there take the next logical step... In this case we have dermals of an unknown primate (physical) we have hair fibres of an unknown primate (biological) and we have audio of an unknown primate. So it's here where I tell you that I can't prove that Sasquatch is a reality, but I can tell you that the evidence for an unknown primate, twice the size of a normal human primate is a reality...
Thanks for posting this!! I have a lot better structures IMO..I put the guard rail video on private until I can figure out what is doing this. Snow plows would have similar bends all over the place, and I don't see it anywhere else??
I assume it is a display of power. The twists are said to be a display of power, and massive tree breaks also. I cannot confirm BF are doing this. There are other areas, where 6 inch sections are peeled up,....makes no sense?
I know where more of these lean To's are, so I'll have more for ya. This is a deer blind I believe, pretty make shift, but the deer travel the edge of the cornfield, which is in front of the structure. It may be a safe place to eat..always tons of eaten corn cobs inside.
DS, quantity and quality of these structured doesn't matter. There is nothing directly connecting these to bigfoot. There needs to be direct evidence, not assumptions.
When you find them in the middle of no where, it's not people! Some if these are so deep in the woods, I doubt you could find it if you came back! You can't connect my 3 tree structure videos to deadfall or humans, so what's doing it?
This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns". Sadly, there was no DNA samples taken from
Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
Editor's Note: This is a guest post by Suzie M., a sasquatch enthusiast. Crypto-linguists believe that the species known Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti/Yowie ect speak and understand a complex language, which by all accounts seems to stem from Asia. When one listens to it there is definitely a sense of it being Chinese or Japanese. It is a very odd mix of sounds, clicks and what could be actual words. This is the reason some experts are looking into the Asian dialect theory, some have said it could be a lost dialect, which was carried from Asia by the Bigfoot species that colonised America.
Not Joe!
ReplyDeleteJoe says a Bigfoot made it.
Deleteofficial first you beeotches
ReplyDeleteMade your self the official thread b-otch with that fail.
DeleteWell, I guess DS finally has some of his stuff put out (unless I missed something earlier).
ReplyDeleteI can't say that I find all those branches and sticks impressive. Good makings for a fire, though.
Looks like dead fall to me.
ReplyDeletedead fall wouldn't happen to fall in that one place and make that pattern.
DeleteThe little lean-to structure is probably human made. It's close to human habitation, and there is 55 gal drum 40 feet away. The rest of the branches definitely look to be dead fall from snow/storms. It's this kind of supposed evidence that keeps Squatching a hobby instead of being research.

Yeah cos a 8ft 400lb creature would easily definitely use that flimsy, useless twig structure as a means of cover.
ReplyDeleteTouche!
DeleteTo think that a bigfoot made and used this thing is laughable.
It's a squatch Florida time-share. As soon as the pool, golf course, and club house are built you'll be sorry you didn't get a lot.
Delete@haints, what do you mean use it? Its laughable to think they make structures like that to use. They make some kind of markers for unknown reasons where they lean, cross or weave sticks together.

Yes I can....we have a video of the lean to from last year, with piles of Corn cobs inside it....one was fresh, half eaten
Deletehalf eaten. So what? Girl Scouts get hungry when out in the wild.
DeleteDS in this video suggests Bigfoot go under bridges and bend guard rail I- beams https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2S8yXtRu7E
ReplyDeleteI think this is going out on a limb to say the least.

I think that kind of puts it into perspective.
A bit hypocritical, PJ.
DeleteAnd the chief cleric of Scientism rears his head.
DeleteWhy are you posting under a different name Joe? Anyone can tell your posts a mile off, they always read terribly and are clunky as f@ck.
DeleteSailors bend bathroom plumbing on board ships because of the pain of the clap. No bigfoot needed.
DeleteIs this some kind of joke or parody?
ReplyDeleteSadly, no
DeleteReally? I could easily make a more impressive stick structure for you.
ReplyDeletehahahahahah! ^^^^^^^^
DeleteSorry but this is all we get until the next hoax comes out..
This is impressive? If a bigfoot made this and used it, that's one dumbass sasquatch.
DeleteThey have "cone heads" for a reason!!
DeleteThis was made by a human. There is zero reason to believe otherwise.
ReplyDelete-The Voice of Reason.
Wait. Don't dismiss this so fast. Let's see what Joe has to say.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion is that it looks like a man made hunting blind..........
ReplyDeletemore bad evidence from No BF Evidence site..
ReplyDeleteNo date again tonight troll? Maybe a little more acne cream. The fact your life revolves around trolling a Bigfoot site is sad. - MR J

ReplyDeleteWe take a bow for our work.
Someone should leave Bigfoot a bottle of whiskey or wine or some Mentos and Mountain Dew
As far as husking corn goes, my dog can unwrap candies and eat the contents and leave the wrappers on the rug so there!
