New Theory About Paul Freeman Footage

Is there something to this theory that Bigfoots only swing their arms in fright mode? BFE reader Joe S. has an interesting theory about this and links Paul Freeman's footage to the Patterson-Gimlin footage. He writes:

Paul Freeman's video of bigfoot crossing the path, is real, if you watch the arms don't swing, just like the first few frames of the Patterson film, a walking bigfoot does not swing its arms like a human does when we walk, Patty goes into Fight or Flight mode and chooses Flight and that's when she starts swinging her arms, walking their arms are at their sides, their language is strange it sounds like a group of people all talking at once, it starts then stops, unlike a group of people talking where it starts out low gets loud then slowly fades down to nothing, bigfoot speech starts out loud lasts a few seconds then stops silent, its something you would have to hear to understand, Ron Morehead has a sound clip that is very close to what I have heard one night in the woods. oh and there is a slit left arm swing in the Freeman video but it only happens once, and the left arm barely moves, it does not swing way out and back like the fake videos people post because they are trying to make it look like Patty in flight mood.

    12. Hey, I think I have been accepted in the club!

Okay to prove my worthiness I will relate my bigfoot experience. Thirty years ago in the wilds of western Kansas I was camping with my folks when in the middle of the night I heard something outside my tent. I peeked out of the tent and saw a dark humanlike figure crouching in the shadows. Scared out of my wits I crawled back in my sleeping bag and was awake until morning. The next day my mom found some humanlike excrement in the same spot where I had seen the figure and angrily asked my dad if it was his. He claimed it must have been an animal but that was no animal - I seen it bent over on TWO legs! Strangely enough the bigfoot also found our toilet paper. True story - I have never told anyone before because I was afraid of ridicule. Seeing is believing!

    16. In this month's issue of Personality and Individual Differences, a study was published (link is external) that confirms what we all suspected: Internet trolls are horrible people.
Let's start by getting our definitions straight: An Internet troll is someone who comes into a discussion and posts comments designed to upset or disrupt the conversation. Often, in fact, it seems like there is no real purpose behind their comments except to upset everyone else involved. Trolls will lie, exaggerate, and offend to get a response.
What kind of person would do this? Some Canadian researchers decided to find out.
They conducted two online studies with over 1,200 people, giving personality tests to each subject along with a survey about their Internet commenting behavior. They were looking for evidence that linked trolling with the "Dark Tetrad" of personality traits: narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and sadism.
They found that Dark Tetrad scores were highest among people who said trolling was their favorite Internet activity. To get an idea of how much more prevalent these traits were among Internet trolls, see this figure from the paper:
Look at how low the Dark Tetrad scores are for everyone except the trolls! Their scores for all four traits soar on the chart. The relationship between trolling and the Dark Tetrad is so significant that the authors write in their paper:

"... the associations between sadism and GAIT (Global Assessment of Internet Trolling) scores were so strong that it might be said that online trolls are prototypical everyday sadists." [emphasis added]

Trolls truly enjoy making you feel bad. To quote the authors once more (because this is a truly quotable article): "Both trolls and sadists feel sadistic glee at the distress of others. Sadists just want to have fun ... and the Internet is their playground!"
The next time you encounter a troll online, remember:
These trolls are some truly difficult people.
It is your suffering that brings them pleasure, so the best thing you can do is ignore them.

  4. I don't dismiss the existence of bigfoot, but the Freeman Footage is hoaxed BS.

There are many people who search for bigfoot for decades and never have a sighting. Anyone who tells you that they have had more than one bigfoot sighting is lying to you, or at best is to be regarded with suspicion.

Anyone like Freeman who not only claimed to see a bigfoot more than once but filmed it on two entirely separate occasions is full of BS.

    2. I have to admit, I would really like to believe the Freeman footage is real. Is its a hoax, then it's a bloody good one, that's a very life like costume (if it is). Has their ever been any proof, or even any good reason to believe it might be hoaxed?

    3. Yeah, Freeman was a serial hoaxer.

      Delete
    4. Freeman delivered some very good evidence, and some shady evidence that are still considered unknowns, therefore the chances are subjectively favoured for the idea that the subject in the footage COULD well be real... There is not enough detail in the footage to ever prove that.

    5. Oh... And by the way... Dr Paul Fuerst of Ohio State University & the Oregon Regional Primate Research Centre verified hairs he collected by a group of forest rangers who he was amongst, at a sighting where tracks were accumulated too. Dr Frank Poirier, chairman of the Ohio State's department of anthropology confirms this.

    1. Freeman was already filming footprints he found in mud by a spring when he saw movement in the woods and got his footage. He already had the camera in hand. If not for that, and he had to fumble and get it out he might not have got his footage.

Any "researcher" who claims to have had multiple sightings and takes bigfoot footage twice is a BS hoaxer.

    4. "LOL. Freeman was a bigfoot BS hoaxer. He apparently has you fooled."

I tell you what... How about you actually take the time to demonstrate the reasons why you can state with all sincerity that Freeman was a hoaxer? I keep reading this ignorance but I never seem to really get anything in the way of a legitimate reason for this.

"Any "researcher" who claims to have had multiple sightings and takes bigfoot footage twice is a BS hoaxer."

Absolute nonsense. Again... It's the most rhetorical rubbish imaginable to condemn someone because they are the one thing that you demand researchers be; successful. You have more and more claims to modern day habituation, it might not have anything to do with what he's doing... More like the subjects are curious if him. This totally eradicates anything that Freeman could have allegedly been doing right. Lot's of researchers come across physical evidence these days, Freeman with his experience and profession was no exception.

By the way, the main subject in the Freeman Footage does not look anything like Patty. If this is an actual bigfoot (which it isn't), then Patty is a hoax.

    1. But a lot of sightings report slight differences in height, weight, hair length, colou, etc
I actually think the subject in the Freeman footage looks more life like than Patty.
Was their reason, or proof, that points to the Freeman footage being a hoax?
Cos if it is a suit, then it's very life like. Would someone like Freeman have the money and resources to have an expensive suit made like that? I'm genuinely intrigued..

  11. The truth is, no one can disprove the legitimacy of the Freeman film or the PG film. Until then, all we have is a bunch of loudmouth skeptics whose cries of hoaxing are based on absolutely no evidence whatsoever. These creatures exist, have been seen by hundreds and hundreds of individuals for centuries, and are an incredible link to a past that we may or may not ever discover concretely. I think in this case it takes more faith to not believe in the existence of Sasquatch than to accept what is true...that they do exist.
