People, People. Don't Be Alarmed! Todd Standing Won't Bite At The Sasquatch Summit
Wow! People. Is Todd Standing really that bad? I mean, he's never attacked anyone or said anything about anyone (except to the Finding Bigfoot crew. Hilarious!) Look. There's a whole bunch of people trying to boycott the Sasquatch Summit this weekend. Basically, nobody wants to be around Standing saying they don't want to support a hoaxer. News of Standing attending the summit has been out for days, but Standing has decided to come out with a splash with recent claims of "sasquatch interaction" and etc. This pissed off a bunch of people in the Bigfoot community, including Steve Streufert who writes:
I hate to have to say it, but I've made the personal decision to BOYCOTT the SASQUATCH SUMMIT this weekend. Why? Because it is enabling and promoting HOAXING and DELUSIONAL THINKING. Though there are indeed some good speakers on the roster, I notice Bart Cutino and Derek Randles are no longer appearing on the pop-up images of those presenting. With TODD STANDING and some real WOO-sters speaking, I can't see this turning out well at all. Even Jeff Meldrum is likely to get swept up in the complications of his association with Standing. This whole event will likely be nothing but a big argument about the "Sylvanic" garbage, and will vault the hoaxing Todd into the USA media. I cannot support or condone such a confused event. I had planned upon going, but no more.

Three people have reached out to me today, including Steve Kulls, saying that they heard that I won't be speaking at the Sasquatch Summit this weekend. Not sure where this rumor is from. Yes, I will be speaking there, along with David Ellis and Tom Baker from the Olympic Project. This promises to be an amazing event, and we are looking very forward to it. Hope to see you there!!
