The story of Ape Canyon is one of the most fascinating and iconic stories of the bigfoot world. A group of miners are attacked by a group of bigfoot creatures and tormented overnight. After almost a century of mystery, the location of scariest Bigfoot encounter in the cannon of Sasquatch history has been rediscovered. How it was found and what is still left at the mining claim that was attacked by "apemen" is coming to Portland's HopsSquatch.
For the better part of the last five years Marc Myrsell and his team of investigators have been trying to find the cabin where four miners held their ground against an attack of "ape men" and "mountain devils". Known to most bigfooters as the Ape Canyon Incident, it was news that spread like wildfire once it was published on July 16, 1924 in an issue of The Oregonian. Fred Beck, one of the miners, said the attack was precipitated by the killing of one of the Apemen earlier in the day.

9 40. I have not as yet. The reason being as they have been showing all the reruns on H2 past couple of weeks and I intend to watch it there at night with my wife. I've got the documentary on now in front of me, and the light parts highlighted in the link appear to be consistently isolated prior to the subject entering that spot and then leaving, suggesting that the lighter areas on the subject is in fact light peering through the trees. This might be why the subject's suggested 'suit opening' may deminish in appearence as the subject moved out from view towards the top left, leaving such lit up areas consistent on the ground.
The subject takes three seconds to climb a 20 foot bank, and another second to move from out of view. In the documentary, Todd climbs this bank to show how difficult a bit of terrain to negotiate it is.

This was per the direction of our favorite habituator, Mike Brookreson. What a fabulous show. This is the family that brought us the famed thermal up in Gray's Harbor of the bigfoot on a ridge seeming looking at the cows. She is a tremendous interview and one can easily discern she is telling the truth. They are playing recordings they have that are just awesome, maybe best I have heard outside of Sierra Sounds.
