Les Stroud Is In Bobo's Stomping Ground
Les Stroud is taking his Bigfoot show everywhere it looks like -- including Humboldt County. Since Humboldt is where all the major squatchers like to hangout, it's also the perfect place to grab some nice camping gear before heading out to the woods. The guys at Pacific Outfitters got in a photo with Les who says he was going to be in the area for about a week:

ReplyDeleteHey Mike!! If you hadn't guessed; someone having another meltdown.
ReplyDeleteYou ok buddy?
Nothing going on here in Texas.
ReplyDeleteOne good thing is the Cowboys are looking good!
Don't go no where.
Shawn will figure out a way to get rid of this fella.
Any way, have a good one and I'll check back in later today.
Got to get the coffee going and the toast a toasting.
Miss Harry and everyone.
See you in about 10 hours Joe!
Mike H.
I'll look forward to that buddy.
ReplyDeleteGlad for Les to be bringing the show down here. Note to Les. We have plenty of bigfoots here in the midwest also. Because of the abundance of deer and smaller game, orchards, berries, nut trees, fish ladden rivers, and vegetable and livestock farms to raid at night it is just possible we have even more than the PNW. Hope to see you here someday soon.

Hey Joe! John W. Jones cannot send you an E-mail, as he is away on his Fall expedition deep into the Adirondack mountains in New York state.
ReplyDeleteHe is already encountering sleet and snow already! Leaves off the Trees visibility good in those areas, but not in the heavy pine forests.Bears all over. I won't hear from him again for 3 weeks.
That's great to bear buddy, thanks for the update! Tell him to relax about the email, as long as I know he's alive and well, with the occasional update around here, that's very much appreciated!
DeleteWell Joe, I can give something to think about:
ReplyDeleteTHE USAGE OF MIRRORS IN BIG FOOT:
John, and his team, always carries acrylic 360 degree mirrors with them. It has many, many uses. When on a trail, the last rider will position the mirror, to watch the back trail. Big foots will let human pass, then either peek from behind a tree, or even walk out into the open, nt knowing, they can be seen.
At camp,Mirrors are placed high up in trees they watch the back areas of the camp, and around the horses.
Many times, we see them sneaking around. they never know, that "we know' that they're there.
As far as I know, no researcher has written about using mirrors to spot them. This method plus, many others are in John's books.
John's friend Spoke
Well John's friend. I think that is clever as all get out. How about trying to get a picture of what the mirrors capture. There must be a way.

It's quite obvious that they are both very stoned in that picture. Some of Humboldt's finest I presume.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I can see that!
