Trail camera attack at Patterson-Gimlin film site
Holy crap! They're not saying it was Bigfoot, but something strange recently happened at the famous Patterson-Gimlin film site. Our friend Jamie S. sent us these photographs showing what looks like a hairy animal trying to rip off a trail camera from a tree. Jamie explains:
Creature attack on Moultrie panoramic camera. We did not see any brown colored bears in the other shots, nor did we see any bears in the days around when these photos were taken. The timestamp is off by 12 hours. The camera was secured in a metal box which was lag bolted to a tree. The animal twisted the whole box trying to rip it off the tree. We have collected some hair off of it and I will have some photomicrographs made when I get a chance.
Yep, lucky stuff. First!

This keeps happening, something monkeying with trail cams yet still not getting clear shots. I keep saying it: you need to have trail cams on your trail cams. That is, every trail cam needs to be in field of view of another trail cam, so if something messes with trail cam 1, trail cam 2 is taking pics of the thing messing with trail cam 1. Trail cams need to be watching trail cams. Probably they should be watching each other: trail cam 1 faces trail cam 2; trail cam 2 faces trail cam 1. Then, there will be no mistake. You'll have pics or video either way, whichever cam an animal chooses to fiddle with, the other cam will be getting pics of it.
DeleteThat simple expedient will end this frustrating continuation of never catching enough of the creature in a pic or video. It would be a fail safe. Yet no one seems to be doing it yet. The cams are expensive and they don't want to "waste" one by having it near another viewing the same patch of ground. But it's time to do it, because this keeps happening.
End the madness. From now on, trail cams in pairs, with each cam of the pair looking at the other cam of the pair. Cams looking at each other will solve some of these problems.
Then Sasquatch will mess with BOTH Trail cams.
DeleteI feel that they have an ability to detect them. Just like a dog can hear high pitch sounds and some animals have night vision or maybe see ultraviolet. Maybe they can hear the cams or see the laser sensor beams and avoid them.
^ I cannot agree more jon, not to mention that sasquatch can most likely smell & hear,(as said above) trail cam's,no doubt they can see the l R sensor beam. I have heard of military blackout filters that render IR beams invisible..maybe that will produce somthing in the future?
DeleteThe sound and smell can be masked as well.
DeleteFooters trying to imply footies did it.
ReplyDeletePgf was a hoax.
Bigfoot don't exist.
I saw one, your just ignorant. Face it, you'll never see one cause bigfoot hates a jackass!
DeleteIs that truly you leon?? ^
DeleteI don't see how Patterson was faked because nobody's reproduced it.
DeleteThey've tried and maybe it needs more money but that doesn't make sense cause it doesn't seem that Roger had money.
It should be easy to fake?
It doesn't look like a costume with boobs put on.
12:14, if you dont believe then why do you waste your time on these sites and even post? it just proves that Bigfoot OWNS YOU.
DeleteI dont believe in modern vampires, but I dont go onto a True Blood website and tell them either.
^ bj , I was just like you. 18 months ago.
DeleteMore proof naysayers! Enjoy your crow!
ReplyDeleteBest evidence yet! This is great. I wank to the best evidence yet!
ReplyDeleteOh man, there's a brown thing in the woods? There's a brown thing in the WOODS? There's a BROWN thing in the woods? I don't know if I can handle this. My world is rocked. I'm literally shaking as I type. I just wasn't ready to accept the fact that there is a BROWN thing in the WOODS and bam you just shove it right in my face like that. Oh man. Oh man.
ReplyDeleteIt probably was stacy brown and his clown
Deletecould be a bear. They are attracted by the odor of the insulation inside the cameras
ReplyDeleteTrailcams repel BFs, duh.
ReplyDeleteThese guys need donations bad!! They are getting a bit desperate hoping that these pictures will land them more donations for equipment!!
ReplyDeleteThat's obviously a Wookie.
ReplyDeleteSolved. So lucky! You guys will be first with real Sasquatch hair! We can all rest on this. Where are you going to send it?
ReplyDeleteHey guys, I am looking for a new trail camera. Does anyone have any suggestions? Good motion sensors and extremely fast trigger speed is exactly what I am looking for.
