Watch: Provo Canyon Utah a Bigfoot Hotbed or a Hotbed for Bigfoot Videos?

Recently YouTube user "AnythingWhatever" posted a short video of what appears to be a bigfoot lurking in the woods just off the side of the road. According to the poster, they were driving down the road near Provo, Utah, when they saw the creature. They immediately turned around and captured the footage. Since that time, the video has gone semi-viral and has been picked up by several news agencies.

Phil Poling of ParaBreakdown did his own enhancements of the video to offer a better look at the creature, which still left it to speculation. For whatever reason a DMCA (a copyright claim) was filed against Poling for the video usage, and was forcefully removed from his channel. At least temporarily.

Oddly enough, the same thing has taken place before in the same general area. In October of 2012, another bigfoot video showed up on the Internet, commonly known as the Provo Canyon Bigfoot video. Similarly, that video was also just enough to leave it open to speculation and inconclusive. You can watch that video below:

So is the Provo Canyon area of Utah a hotbed of bigfoot activity? Or is someone up to some shenanigans, attempting to make lightning strike twice? The original Provo Canyon video has garnered over 7 million views for the poster. In less than 2 years, two separate videos have come from the area, captured by random amateurs with nothing more than cell phones. Maybe some bigfoot researchers that know what they're doing should be focusing their efforts in this area where getting video of bigfoot seems fairly simple.
