Crazy stuff going on in Canada with this footage

It's hard to say who or what did this to the deer. But according to "Jim", a Canadian squatcher, this is one of his favorite hotspots. The deer kill could be a sign we suppose. Hit the link below to watch his video:

    1. Yes they do! From what I've been lead to believe about Sasquatch kills, this doesn't look like one.

I'll need to watch the video to know the finer details though.

    3. We had a cougar encounter (no the human kind) last year. Buddy and I jogging up this paved hill (small mountain really) that is fairly forested. We heard a crashing sound from above and saw the cougar moving quickly through the brush towards a bluff we were running towards. We went back the other way. Doubt it would have attacked us but it seemed to be stalking. Young cougars can do that though.

    4. Bro, it's amazing to me that you've got that type of wildlife out there!! It fascinates a lot of British people... You must have to watch your back all the time?!

    5. We have cougars all over the place here. You just don't see them very often because they are elusive as hell. But they'll sometimes post cougar sightings when they come around schools. My neighbor told me two years ago his daughter was leaving at about 5am. A cougar jumped down from the telephone pole in their front yard and ran into the back yard. We also have deer all over the place and tons of raccoons. On another related note, about a decade ago I was taking someone up to a park I played in as a kid to check it out. Pretty much in the middle of the city. There's a microwave tower there. Anyways, we went down to the tower and on the other side we see this large sandy coloured cat. At first I thought it was a dog, but no, it was a cat. Probably a smaller female cougar. Anyways, it was surreal. I turned and said, do you see what I see. The answer was, yes, let's get out of here.

    6. Ernie. What part of BC are you in? I personally would not like the idea of sharing woods with these large cats, even though they pretty much stay away. There was a smaller zoo when I lived in Palm Desert, CA just up the hill from me where I would go and see these cats only separated by a glass window and if one has not been around them just the sheer size of these cats is frightening. They are not much problem in Ohio or Michigan as yet, but the day will come.

By the way. I like those Rossignol Skies and hope they cut up the slopes for you.

    7. I'm on the west coast, Vancouver area.

We get the odd reported attacks here now and then (rare), but they go for smaller prey so when it does happen it's typically children, which is scary. But they have attacked adults on rare occasion. Usually it's the juveniles that do so because they don't quite know what's on the food chain. And some of the males can get rather large. Some years ago an older guy was attacked and fought one off by biting it back in it's neck. I think he stabbed it with his knife too but I'd have to re read the encounter. Anyways, they are beautiful animals. I've read they eat mostly raccoons and seals instead of deer around here.

You know about these skis? I checked out tons of reviews before purchase and never tried them. I hope to get some skiing in on them before the season is over. They are 170's so I hope they aren't too small but I prefer smaller skis.

    8. Oh old cats sometimes attack too because they are old and can't catch normal game.

    10. No probs. I just hope I never run into a hungry desperate cat at anything less than acceptable distance.

    12. By attacked, are you talking about by a 44 year old vixen?

  2. Jim says it was probably coyote and the way the neck was ripped out I would have to agree, maybe wolf.

A week ago Saturday I was at my favorite watering hole Hot Rods and Harleys, Greenville, OH to watch the Big Ten Basketball tournament. When I was talking to patrons about what a gas and oil boom area Eastern Ohio along the Ohio river was going to be in the coming years a lady said she owned 80 acres in Adams County in this area and she would look into this opportunity. She then told a story about her pygmy goats being attacked. On three separate occasions she would go out to the pen in the morning to feed only to find the goat gone with its head ripped off and left in the pen. She said it looked like the head was just pulled off the body and did not know what could do such a thing.
Of course I gave her the explanation and she looked bewildered at first then thought some and said maybe it was.

    1. Heads getting ripped right off is definitely another story. Reminds me of that tale between an Indian tribe and Sasquatch where heads were ripped right off.

    2. Yeah it sure does. Also the tale Coonbo Baker told of the guide in NM who guided the hunter and shot at a bigfoot after being told by the guide to not shoot. The guide took of running while the hunter stayed his ground to fire another shot, only to have the bigfoot come up and just pull his head off.

    5. Chuck. I own thousands of acres in Adams County, I have looked into the shale oil deal and it seems most of Adams does not have the right conditions for it to be worth it. I also believe I have Squatch that move through the area. My brother insists he viewed one out my guest room window peeking behind a large Cedar. Todd has visited multiple times and believes it's possible they could be there. So, no shale oil, but possibly Bigfoot lol.

    1. Todd could have saved Les a 5 mile hike in with a full pack because mediocre action like that can be found inside of large city parks. Of couse you would have to be in the park after closing hours to get that action. Which is why there are closing hours, so that the Bigfoot do not have to be hassled by the human poparazi 24/7.

  7. I guess now every deer, goat, cow, chicken, rabbit grouse etc kills found are all done by Big foots! I guess Bears, Coyotes, Cougars Lynx etc have nothing to do with these kills! It's always the Big foots!
Now Les Stroud "The survivor man" has the "Big foot on the Brain Disease. Now everything he sees, hears in the woods was caused by a Big foot!
Todd said; "Look Les, there's a pebble overturned, it was cause by a Big foot passing by! Les says: "Wow! i never noticed those things before in all my years filming survivor man, Thanks Todd I learn something new everyday"!
Then, a Fox screams, and Todd says: "That was no Fox! That was a Big foot"! Les said: "Wow" holy fing s#%@ your right Todd! It was a Big foot"!
Within a few more years, Les Stroud will become Les "MoneyMaker Stroud!

    1. No, but nice try. Looks like you have way too much time on your hands. In the show, Les did say that he had heard the same sounds before, as what Todd was calling to his attention as being Bigfoot related.

  11. Only sad part of this survivor man is that Todd standing stold this area from another bf researcher who has now bought a 50 cal semi , he said and is going to take the shot if the opportunity presents itself!! Good for him I say! Those r some big balls, but have fun carrying that rifle in the bush if he is indeed telling the truth!!! TTL

  12. Not sure why a bigfoot or any predator would leave that much of the carcass uneaten. I have read when they kill deer they usually twist their heads off like a chicken's
