Update: Just realized Matt Knapp already posted this story yesterday, but we'll consider this a re-post since I spent a whole 10 minutes writing the lead. Watch the video if you haven't seen it.

We didn't want to make the headline sound sensational, but if it had happened today, you can bet your Bitcoins that we would be all over this story. Supposedly, inn the 1890s, a sasquatch was reportedly trapped and put on display on Vancouver Island, before being returned to the woods. Crazy stories like this have been passed along for generations, including sighting in 1984, about a B.C. man named Gord Flanders who told CBC News he saw and heard a Bigfoot growl while riding in a truck near Harrison.     This non-play video happened two days in a row! Anybody else? I'm wondering if shawn evidently not! Is getting cash money from these ads? cause they ain't plying any stinking video after it stops at the 29 second mark. Something tells me this dude is playing us instead of this fantasy video of some trapped bigfoot but then re-released back into the wild. Only trap is this web-site anymore. BREAKING: Finding Bigfoot Production Company Seeks Filming Permit In Virginia

Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
