    11. Damn. This lady destroyed my leg from the knee down. Took me almost 2 years to walk again and 4 to recover fully (never be 100% again though)

But hey, for my lack of long distance running I'm gettin slick at submission grappling.

    12. Awesome you can put bigfeets in a headlock

      Delete
    13. If their traps attach the the back of the skull resulting in an apparent lack of a neck, a headlock would be impossible.

I'll drop for an ankle lock instead.

Imagine going out like that! Screw fighting a bear like Brad Pitt in Legends of The Fall...

I wanna go out in a catch wrestling match with Sasquatch!

    14. In PA for family matters and to get out of the city for a little while.

It's been a tough year for the family death wise and me being 850 miles away didn't help them much. It may be the last year I get to visit with my grandparents so I made the executive decision to take a winter sabbatical to do such.

      Delete
    15. Yeah it's all fun and games till a bear eats someone or you get a pile driver from bigfeets

      Delete
    16. Sorry to hear that man. Both my and my wife's moms were diagnosed with cancer the beginning of this year so I know how it is man but still sorry to hear that brother

      Delete
    17. The advice from my cousin at my dads funeral helped me it never gets better it just gets a little easier with time

      Delete
    18. I'll say a prayer for you brother to my omnipresent god regardless of you believing in him or not

      Delete
    19. Yeah. I'm comfortable with it as much as one can be but I lost 2 within the last 6 months so I figured I'd try to spend as much time with those I have left this winter.

Just being out of the city is a gift itself. I love it but I've got a lifetime of nothing but the wild in all directions so 2 years in the city felt like an eternity.

    20. I bet man it was a culture shock for me when we moved to fl in Chicago everything is always open down here there's still shops that don't open Sunday I assumed because Chicago that god and values had been eradicated from the U.S. I'm glad I was wrong

      Delete
    21. City? No city.

Centre County. Just outside actually. We go by townships and counties up here because outside of Philly, Pitt, and Harrisburg there really isn't many cities.

      Delete
    22. What did you mean by good to get out of the city what city are you from it's kinda halfassed city here we live outside of Tampa so it's like half country half city and the country ass old people pull out of driveways on a 50 mph road right in front of oncoming traffic this old dude made a uturn with only 100 feet in front of a car stomped his gas so hard he almost flipped his minivan oh and only place I've ever seen a 3 car accident on a 40 mph road that totaled 2 cars and somehow the SUV was on it's roof how the fuck does that happen

      Delete
    23. How the hell did you convince work that you needed a whole winter sabbatical

      Delete
    24. Well, I'm a resident of Nashville, Tennessee. That was the city I referenced that it was good to get away from.

Where my parents live is rural and in between two state forests. Closest neighbor is about a 7 minute car ride from here. Zero cell phone service, that whole shtick.

I am a musician and I also work for a publishing company so I can take just about whatever time needed. Fall and early winter is the slow season for publishing, hence me taking a voluntary lay off. I'll be back in the South the first week of January.

    26. Hey Harry, Dan. Soory to hear about it. I lost my Dad a little over a year ago, Fight with Melanoma. My mom got diagnosed with breast cancer a few months back. But thank the Lord all has gone exceedingly well with her.
So I get completely what you guys have been through, best wishes and prayers!

As for Streetbike, took two years building a street GXR 750, had so many run ins with idiots, I sold it after about a year. I couldn't go for a ride on that thing without hitting 100. It was only a matter of time, so time to go. Went car racing instead ---- roll cages good!
Dirtbike got stolen, no more super-moto.
Too damn broke the last 4-5 years to aford any new toys. Economy SUCKS!

Sorry about your mom too man my mom is in remission she had uterus My wife's mom has it in her lungs my dad passed in may of 09 from lung diasease and it was the worst time in Chicago work completely stopped very abruptly in dec 08 there was tons of work it went from that to none no slow down at all just done so it was rough for me to pay the funeral and my brothers didn't help

      Delete
    29. Yah, people are really hurting all over the country. Seems like everyone has some kinda crap going on? Been a suzuki guy my whole life. 4 dirtbikes / 1 street bike. Man I'm with you on the duck though, I always liked the old Bimotas too, they used everybody else's engines though, ha ha ha. The 999, pure sex on wheels!

      Delete
    30. If you buy an older one (Ducati), caution about too many wheelies, it would siez some of the engines, oohhh nnnoooo!

      Delete
    31. Oh hell no I'm getting brand new at the dealer there's two things I don't tolerate in this world used bikes and used women and I won't budge on either

      Delete
    32. Yeah you never know what the other guy did in a car no problem on a bike though that is like trusting someone you don't even know and it can be a life or death situation
