You are implying that this commercial side detracts from his credibility apparently.
He has written several books, so has income that way. "Saxons, Vikings & Celts" is a good read.
He said in the article you posted the link to:
"I am driven by curiosity. Curiosity should drive all science. Indeed, it should drive all academic activity. There should be the desire to explore things not explored before."
That is the antithesis of what the skepfools propound. The latter are now saying Don't look at the PGF, "I don't have to," because of certain rumours surrounding the filming of it.
That's utterly foolish, discounting something based on rumour, and to say don't study Patty because of the rumours outside of the film itself. Let's emphasize 'rumours'. That sure is scientific, isn't it?
Don't penalize the film itself and what is depicted in it, due to rumours.
Wow, rumours and avoidance, this insistence on looking away, averting the eyes from evidence, is, as said, the opposite of what Dr Sykes said about curiosity.
The skepfools, who claim Science and Scientific Method, are basing rejection of the PGF on rumours and advise you Don't watch the film. Wowee. This couldn't be further from the scientific method.
Dr Sykes: Curious
Skepfools: Heads in sand, arses wriggling in air
Sykes seems to be partially a maverick, perhaps a little devilish, and very clever. I think the skepfools won't find an ally in him. A maverick doesn't toe the scientific line. Sykes may soon deliver some very uncomfortable goods at skepfoolish doorsteps around the world.
Sykes may be the type to shake up the status quo. He already has with past projects, and in a big way. Read the "Saxons" book. He isn't the type to produce what the skepfools want to hear, to make them feel safe in their playpens.
Skepfools, measure Sykes for a tin foil hat, and despair.
If real life is a hoax, does that mean the PGF is genuine? Or that Roger and Bob and Al hoaxed a helluva lot more stuff then we know about?..I'm confused...
If you want proof. You don't need sykes. Rick Dyer has a DVD for sale called After the Shot. It is 129.00$. If you buy the DVD and if what you see is not a bigfoot he will give you your money back plus $100.00 dollars. Anyone who buys the DVD is also invited to see the body for the first reveal. Do you believe? Can you handle the truth? Buy the DVD. The reveal is coming soon!! Yes!
This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns". Sadly, there was no DNA samples taken from...
Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
Editor's Note: This is a guest post by Suzie M., a sasquatch enthusiast. Crypto-linguists believe that the species known Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti/Yowie ect speak and understand a complex language, which by all accounts seems to stem from Asia. When one listens to it there is definitely a sense of it being Chinese or Japanese. It is a very odd mix of sounds, clicks and what could be actual words. This is the reason some experts are looking into the Asian dialect theory, some have said it could be a lost dialect, which was carried from Asia by the Bigfoot species that colonised America.

ReplyDeleteNo, it means that Bob Hilarious' & Hackham's Patty duplication attempts are still the laughingstocks they were back when life was not a hoax.
