This Amazing Footage of An Elusive Animal Was Taken at Bluff Creek a Few Days Ago

The Bluff Creek game cam project is going really well according to our friend Jamie S. The Bluff Creek team was blown away when they captured this amazing footage of a cougar at the famous Patterson-Gimlin film site. Jamie left this message on Facebook regarding the video:

Some truly awesome news from the PG film site. Rowdy and I have retrieved some memory cards from the trail cameras that have been running for two months. We have officially caught our most exciting video yet. This video proves the effectiveness and viability of the Patterson-Gimlin film site camera project. Video is uploading to youtube right now at 100% resolution.

We would like to thank everyone who believed in us. - Jamie

    2. They're very rare here in California. When one is found it is a pretty big deal.

  3. The PGF is an enduring mystery, even though Greg Long pretty much solved it already.

I've been fortunate enough to have had the nexxus of the pgf suit fall into my ballsack region, but

    I prefer the enduring mystery.

Either way I'm piss broke and need bus fare.

    1. IT proved that the cameras have the ability to run reliably and capture elusive animals. In this part of Humboldt County cougars are very rare. The cameras do more work in a year than a bigfooter can hope to accomplish in their lifetime.

    2. it was just Bob Heironimus in a cougar suit...

    3. The first time I went to the PG Film site in 2003 during the Bigfoot Symposium. Another footer and I saw a black bear and a cougar all on the same road down to the site. We never heard or saw anything squatchy.

  8. I just got back from camping about a mile from the mouth of bluff creek. Nothing squatchy to report, however.

  9. I just got back from camping balls deep in the anus of Bluff Creek. Smelled real squathcy.

  10. The cameras captured footage of two alpha predators. What about deer? Are they just not showing us that footage because it's ubiquitous? Or did the cameras only capture these two predators, and one of them being quite rare?

    That's interesting to think about.

Wine, anyone? I have a nice chardonnay here, my fellow bigfoot enthusiasts. Skeptics welcome too, of course.

  11. So based on the value of the dollar today. Why would roger pay someone 7000.00 dollars to wear a suit .He could of got anyone including an actor for much less. If he was going to hoax it why go so deep in bluff creek could of filmed it close to home. Also if you had spent 4500.00 dollars on a suite you would hoax again to get your monies worth...I'm just saying.

    1. ..lol..According to Heironymous, Roger did not pay him..He stiffed Gimlin, too. Gimlin did sue the Patterson family but there is no evidence that Heironymous was ever offered money to wear a suit....

  13. Hey Guys, I think this is awesome as I just hiked up that trail with ya'll last month (18 - 21 Jul 13) with Bill Brewer. I remember you talking about how seeing a cougar is really rare and that you wanted to place as many cameras as possible. I'm encouraged by this! That trip was wonderful and I'm still digesting it. Already had a little "class" with my friends who are really excited that I went and will have another one in a couple of weeks. God bless and thank you again, Mary, Columbia, SC
