See The Minnesota Iceman This Fourth of July Weekend In Austin TX

Back in the good old days, it would cost you 25 cents at a carnival to see the Minnesota Iceman encased in a box. Today however, it's not going to be just another sideshow. It's new home will be at a reputable museum on Sixth Street in Austin TX. The guy who owns the "body" (we don't know if it's a Bigfoot or a very hairy human being) is Steve Busti, the museum's curator. It has been 40 years since he first laid eyes on Iceman. After shelling out $20,000 on Ebay a few months ago, he is finally reunited with his long lost curiosity since he was 5 years old. The reunion is well worth he tells www.myfoxaustin.com:

He says there was a "Buy it now" option!

"I made a big decision, it was $20,000. And I made the decision to go ahead and buy it. Mainly because it's such an important piece of American history but also my own personal history," Busti said.

But here's the real issue...what is it really?

Busti says Theory A is -- the Iceman is a frozen Neanderthal found in Siberia in the '60s.

Theory B is that the creature was some sort of bigfoot/missing link and was shot in Vietnam during the Vietnam war and smuggled back to the U.S. in a body bag.

"Of course there's always C. It could be a fake. And if Hansen did get Howard Ball to make a rubber dummy of the original body that he did supposedly have, it could be this. So...there's several theories as to what I have! I want people to come in, take a look at it and kind of get their own judgment from it," Busti said.

    1. The reason the bigfoot myth is still popular today despite the complete lack of evidence because people make up stories about seeing giant monkeys in north america. Travis is one of these people.

    2. Wrong. Travis is one of the giant monkeys.

    3. I did it all so I could be a celebrity on something as monumental as the BFE. You caught me

    4. Why do you care?

It's very simplistic to denounce the thousands of witnesses in one fell swoop.

Is every one of these people hoaxing, lying or simply mistaken?

If you took the time to avail yourself of these often very compelling reports then your view of the subject would perhaps not be as skewed.

    5. The sheer number of reports actually hinders the proponents argument. The number of reports despite complete lack of physical evidence goes to show we are dealing with a psychological phenomenon of people seeing magic monkey men that aren't really there.

      Got 50,000 reports? Yes.

      Got monkey? Embarrassingly no.

"The sheer number of reports actually hinders the proponents argument. The number of reports despite complete lack of physical evidence goes to show we are dealing with a psychological phenomenon..."

HA HA HA HA HA!! Is that your idea of logic?? The boundaries of stupidity are really getting pushed daily on this blog you know. We have evidence; we have footprint casts, we have dermal ridges, we have DNA, we have video footage, we have thousands of multiple person eye witness testimonies, we have a 100 years of printed media, we have thousands of years of Native American Culture, we have professional expert upon professional expert...

WHAT DO YOU HAVE??? PLEASE SHOW ME WHAT YOU HAVE???? NOTHING, NOT EVEN ONE SOURCE OF PROFESSIONAL ANALYSED OPINION TO BACK UP YOUR CLAIMS... EXCEPT YOU.

      Peace.
      Joe.

    8. Sorry... It's astonishing me the ignorance of these people. If you can state that accumulated eye witness testimony hinders an argument, please explain the thousands of murder cases that are solved purely on that source? Ha ha ha ha ha! I almost can't believe the effort at logic of these people? When you pair those thousands of testimonies with the accumulated evidence that either you are too stupid to understand or too ignorant or scared to acknowledge, then we have so much more of a case to claim than you.
      Peace.
      Joe.

    9. Check out 'Leaping Russian Yet' on YouTube, the MK Davis version... I think this will satisfy your basic levels of intelligence, cause reading repetitive comments on this blog is obviously too much of a challenge for you to negotiate.

    10. lols this is certainly taking the blog back! Skeptards pounded!

    11. It's getting hilarious... Now; the skeptics are attacking the notion that I request proof of their claims?! It's astonishing the level of understanding of the process of natural debate that these clowns have??

I am quite happy and always have been to source the amount of evidence enthusiasts have, I dare say I'll have to do it a million times more... as long as some of these people are learning then that's reason enough to do it... But to state we have no evidence is simply starting to make them look like they don't know what they are talking about and for that reason alone; I'll keep responding with our sources.
      Peace.
      Joe.

    12. 1:23 Correct. When decades of prints, stories and crappy footage NEVER result in a specimen its obvious the "real creature" hypothesis is wrong...The point of diminishing returns, so far as that position is concerned, was passed decades ago..
Since then every new story and blobsquatch without supporting physical evidence is evidence that this is all a fun multi-culti myth...lol..

    13. You obviously do not know what you are on about do you? This is an extremely naive thing for you to state. Enthusiasts don't just have anecdotal accounts, have have professional expert opinion and an acknowledgement by modern science in the shape of Dr Bryan Sykes... Explain that please?

It's really simple... Enthusiasts have back up professional opinion and skeptics don't. Why is it that as science is evolving you are no closer to proving the creature doesn't exist, whilst we are attaining more and more evidence to back up our claim? You fail to prove that this creature isn't real, when you then refuse to acknowledge the accumulation of evidence we have to prove it? Just because you say it's not real doesn't make it so I'm afraid... And it's a contradiction for you to expect people us to deliver when you don't.

Prove it... Prove that dermal ridges and a forensic expert aren't right, prove that a celebrated cryptolinguist isn't right, prove that a 100 years of printed media is wrong, prove that the best forensic artist in the country is wrong, prove that the thousands of eye witness accounts, sometimes multiple people's aren't credible... Why can't you to that? You demand we present evidence and then it's ignored... Well we are not ignoring you, just requesting the same. Any scientific debate demands the same. If eye witness accounts are due to psychological issues, explain multiple person accounts?

If you want a clear image of a Bigfoot, then just look at 'Leaping Russian Yeti' on YouTube. I am having so much fun with this cause none of you can debunk it and it's hilarious to see you dodge the subject. I'd suggest you watch the MK Davis version cause there are screen shots you'll have heck of a job explaining.

Your logic about accumulative eye witness accounts is purely something a very stupid person would maintain I'm afraid... I expect nothing less from people who keep demanding evidence and then ignore it once it's presented.

      Peace.
      Joe.

    14. I am about to paste a comment (for the 7th time) that a gentleman posted on the 'Giant Skeletons Cover Up' blog page three weeks ago...

"... I live in N. Utah, am an equipment operator, and have signed a total of of 5 non-disclosure agreements concerning the large hairy dude. LOL
Can't say much more than that, until I retire in '18.
Believe me or don't, I dont care. But mining and oil companies FOR SURE take this stuff seriously.
      Hang in there."

This articulates why you are not aware of the discovery of such remains. For further referencing, check out some Jim Vieira on YouTube.

    3. Got giant hairy people Joe? What's that? Humm, I didn't think. You sit there all high and mighty, talking about tearing skeptics apart and all this BS that makes you think you're some kind of intellectual or expert of some kind. It's all about winning for you eh Joe? You're not tearing any skeptics apart, as you say. You're just making a fool of yourself, they keep pulling your chain and you keep jumping like your famous skipping Russian Bigfoot. We're just here for the fun of it, we don't take this seriously like you do sir And, we are actually trolls and proud of it, if you want to brand us with the title of skeptic, go right ahead. Go ahead Mr Fitzgerald, reply with one of your insults because we refuse to believe in what you
believe. You're so intelligent with all your Bigfoot information and all your cut and paste. What's the word for, opposite of humble...? Oh, yeah, that's right. ARROGANT is the word.

    4. Win for me I think! Oh, and I haven't got any hairy giants; the Smithsonian has.

It's really not about me winning, but winning for the real experts that have dedicated their lives to researching progressive anthropological science... I do not ignore the thousands of people who have had eye witness experiences and if I can take apart every little closed minded skeptic that thinks they know better then it will eventually contribute to people getting the confidence to come on this blog and voice their experiences and contribute to productive debate without the fear of ridicule & hopefully, eventually finding closure; developing understanding for the wider enthusiasts in the process.

You have taken it upon yourself to waste your time and troll on something you don't believe in, and I have taken it upon myself to expose you for what you are; cowardly little anonymous censurers of the truth. Like you enjoy poking fun & not taking the subject seriously, I enjoy getting a rise out of you by highlighting your poor logic, which much to my delight is very much the case with you sir.

There's a very, very simple reason why I keep referencing the Russian Yeti; it's because you can't disprove it and I love it... And if I can celebrate the capturing of that footage whilst bringing more attention to it for the wider public in the process, then better still... Even though you do not realize it, with your repetitive nonsense you are actually helping more and more people see my references cause I need to keep repeating myself and bringing awareness to the evidence.

I very much beg to differ about tearing skeptics apart, and the fact that you have taken it upon yourself to spend time trying to discredit my character, as opposed to challenging my points is providing further credibility to my point that you have nothing but your lazy, ignorant opinion, and I have so much more, not just my arrogance. I think I am aloud a little of that considering the level of come back I keep knocking out of the park like yours.

      Peace.
      Joe.

Glad that you're so full of yourself, more ammunition for us. Keep on believing in your magik monkey men Joe, we can go on forever... Peace (that sounds so hypocritical coming from you Joe). Even if I do school you with negative tones, I think it's important to still use 'Peace' at the end of my comments as much as possible cause there's not enough of it in the world...
