Please Cast Monica Harmse For Bigfoot War!

As we previously reported, Bigfoot War by Science Fiction author Eric S. Brown is heading to theaters as early as 2014. Production starts up at the end of this month and it looks like the audition tapes are finally rolling in. This audition tape from Monica Harmse is quite intense and leaves us begging for more:

The Bigfoot War story goes like this:

Jeff Taylor was an ordinary boy growing up in the small town of Babble Creek, North Carolina, until one night his life was changed forever when a sasquatch brutally murdered his family. Taylor fled the town, hoping to leave the painful memory behind. Years later, after two tours of duty in the Iraq War, he's back in Babble Creek seeking vengeance. Taylor's lust for the blood of the monster that slew his family sets in motion a series of events that soon has the entire town fighting for its life as a tribe of sasquatches descend from the forests and hills into Babble Creek to declare war upon its citizens. Babble Creek is about to find out Bigfoot is very real and there's more than one of the creatures that want to fill the streets with blood.

  5. Melba Ketchum is once again in the spotlight and this time she's answering various questions concerning her methods. Henry at Ghost Theory wants to know why Ketchum's findings aren't being treated with respect since she was professional in her approach and used the scientific method to obtain her results. The thing is, she really was nothing close to professional about it. Everything about the way Ketchum has presented her DNA study has been fraught with issues, from publishing the study in a "new" unknown scientific journal behind a paywall to refusing to answer skeptical queries such as the one we mentioned yesterday in which a DNA sample from her collection was tested by an independant lab and indicated only possum DNA present. And then there's her comedy sidekick...err, her publicist--we can't even begin to describe the problems arising from that arena. The entire process from her inital annoucement to the release of her study has been one long, slow motion trainwreck. We actually think she might have been on the right track at one point too, but she drove her train off the credibility tracks long ago.

    1. While I agree Melba is unprofessional and there is definently something off about her schemes, she totally destroyed that stupid opossum story the day it came out. As far as I'm concerned, the opossum grab is nothing but desperate times for her deniers.
