ReplyDeleteThe problem, Joe, is that you want to see muscles, you want to see a biological creature, so you exaggerate what you see and call it muscle movement. There is no muscle movement. Patty's body is as firm and non-jiggly as a sheet of foam rubber. There is not independent movement of any muscle group. The buttocks act as a single unit, no side to side contraction or extension, it is as they say, similar to a diaper padded butt. Sure, foam rubber will give a bit and morph slightly as the actor moves, but in no way is that at all similar or indicative of muscle movement.
ReplyDeleteMunns is like a magician, a slight of hand expert. Focuses your attention on one small point on the body, attempting to draw your attention away from the flaring creases and wrinkles consistent with a suit. He's good at that, no doubt, but that sort of stage trick only works on those willing to be duped. It does not work on those truly objective about what they are looking at.
Patty is a padded suit, padded more appropriately than Munns seems able to do with his recreations, but there is no getting around the fact that there is an obvious thigh pad with a very straight line upper margin, which Munns tries to dismiss as a thumb scrape, and a body section that ends in an arc around the hip. The suit makers left a gap between pads in the hip, and that is a dead giveaway that Patty is a suit.
There is no muscle movement seen in the film. None at all. There is no latissimus motion, no jiggling, no shifting, no stretching of that muscle. There is no jiggling of what is supposed to be fat on the waist line. Fat and muscle jiggle, shift, tighten and relax. There is none of that anywhere.
The only thing even slightly hinting at flexibility in the suit is the very minute rocking of the rigid buttock structure. The entire butt rocks slightly as Patty walks, but there is not one bit of independence between the right and left cheeks. The butt is nothing more than a big padded section, nothing more.
And don't forget, Joe, that IF Patty were real, she would have had parents, siblings and offspring, none of which have ever shown their faces or dead bodies anywhere else or any other time. If bigfoot was real, there would not be just one Patty, there'd be thousands which constitute a breeding population, which there is zero evidence of.
Patty is a one off suit, made to produce a movie, to produce a profit, which has been working for the Patterson family for 45 years. Mrs. Patterson has been collecting residuals for that long. That is the reason Patty was created, for profit. And that is why there has never been another one since, because nobody has figured out how to market yet another fake bigfoot as real. And since the public interest has swung from fascination and interest, towards recognizing bigfoot as a fun fantasy creature, nobody will ever buy into another piece of evidence marketed as real bigfoot evidence. Any news that makes it to TV stations is always laughed at by the commentators, because everyone now knows that bigfoot is a fake dream. Everyone except those who don't want to let go of that dream. People like Joe who want so badly to believe, in spite of the overwhelming evidence against, and in spite of the overwhelming lack of tangible evidence for. As if footprints make a monster real. Funny stuff.
I love lamp.
DeleteYour check is in the mail. Good disinformation job. We need more artists like you that can really twist the minds of the naive who come here to learn something, but instead we plant this in their brains. Your diatribe is priceless.
