Calm Down People: This Isn't a Real Bigfoot!
Our friend Chuck Prahl received a photograph yesterday from a listen who claimed to have captured an 8 ft tall Bigfoot on trail camera. The man from Mossyrock, WA swears it's real. Well -- We will just tell you right now that it's not real. It's a cropped image of a Bigfoot creature from a hearing aid advertisement. The Squatchers Lounge podcast co-host David Bartdorf recognizes the ad: "My girlfriend culled this from the local paper, a while ago... look familiar??? Really??? A hearing aid advertisement??? Zoom in. Its an exact match. I hate that people do this..."
About the photograph circulating on Facebook, David explains: "Their photo is from another angle... but that IS the same photo. The ad in my photo was from a Audiology Clinic in Bellingham, WA... From the Bellingham Herald... Guess where I live."
Here's the image sent to Chuck:

DeleteOf course it isn't a real bigfoot. That goes without saying. Didn't need to even explain where the photo came from to know that. In fact, the next photos that hit the blog will also not be real bigfeet. And on into infinity. KNow why? They ain't no bigfoots around.

DeleteDoes your boyfriend believe you're a Bigfoot skeptic ?
Woops (sp) I meant Druscilla.
ReplyDeleteI'm just wondering why game camera researchers aren't setting up several cameras covering areas ranging around each other.
ReplyDeleteEach camera could cover fore ground and background surrounding a camera covering the same on its own mounted position, and so on.
If bears, raccoons, bigfoot, or meddling kids are playing with the cameras, then cameras covering cameras would then increase the chance of getting an answer about ambiguous camera triggers.
