Delete(thats better)
ya jay quit being a tool
DeleteLol @ Jay. Your now just losing respect for Animal Planet? Have you watched the last few seasons of Finding Bigfoot? They said bye bye to good shows when they realized ratings equal dollars.
DeleteI just called Animal Planet and i told them that Jay Cooney has lost all respect for you and they replied "who the fuck is Jay Cooney?"
DeleteJay Cooney, the documentary is fake. You see this in the credits of the original "Mermaid, The body found."
DeleteBut with that said... How do you call the possibility of Mermaids existing "absolutely ridiculous" and at the same time believe in Bigfoot? (I believe in Bigfoot my self, and had my own encounter as did my mother and grandmother) I personally do not think it is likely that mermaids exist but at the same time I would not call the notion absolutely ridiculous. If you go by eye-witness accounts and ancient art, you wind up with the same amount of evidence that you have with Bigfoot minus the DNA and prints.
Tzieth,
DeleteSo minus all the physical evidence, your saying there is plenty of evidence for mermaids based on sailors stories(you know, men who were out at see for months-years with nothing but other men and alcohol to keep them interested? yea they saw what they think they saw lmao) The evidence for BF isnt much, but is STAGGERING compared to the evidence for a mermaid. Not to mention Jays point is that the show is purely fake and can be figured out just by watching it, no need for credits to "prove" it.
Everyone talking smack about Jay, is mostly kidding, but those of you who are seriously surprised he feels this way, probably are dumb enough to believe in mermaids based on old drunk stories and cave drawings of people swimming.
Jay u so funny
DeleteVaJayJay thats pretty pathetic defending yourself anonymously, you're such a tool
DeleteLMFAO "VaJayJay"
DeleteChill out Jay!
DeleteAnimal Planet are just jerking with us.
Kinda like Shawn does with Doc Johnson, Fasano and Squatchmaster.

Not at all.. What I am saying is that as far as eye-witness testimony, over centuries, Mermaids probably have Bigfoot beat. As far as drunken sailors, they came up with these silly stories of Giant Squids as well.. (Look how that turned out.) But mermaids were not just allegedly sighted by sailors. There were supposed sightings in Scotland by a monastery.
I am in no way saying they exist. I am saying that if you all out deny something could exist then you are no better than a sasquatch nay-sayer.
Tzieth,
DeleteIt may not be right to shoot down the idea like that, but I still stand by what I said. It is ridiculous for me to think mermaids exist based on the evidence. Simply because the evidence is just stories from a hundred years ago or more and the people seeing them were known to make shit up.
The giant squids was not made up, nobody believed them because nobody else saw them. The only other people who saw mermaids or sirens have nothing credible to support that. Atleast there were large squids known and small ones, there are no sea apes in anyway.
Cat shit jay there are these creatures walking the earth called "females." They just might interest you.
DeleteGosh, I didn't expect so many people to think I was arrogant for saying mermaids don't exist....well let me point out that the animals behind mermaid legends have already been identified as sirenians and possibly some Pinnipeds. But there is absolutely 0 physical evidence for a fully aquatic species of primate. I'm not being arrogant, Im just trying to make my opinions based off of data.
