Recently Bigfoot Evidence received a couple of interesting posts in the comment section. We aren't sure what to think, but they have definitely raised our collective eyebrows. The poster claims to be the person who allegedly donned the so-called Wookie costume and mask for the Erickson project videos. The comment reads as follows:

I am the person that wore the matilda wookie suit. I signed an agreement stating that I would not talk about it, but that was years ago and I figure it's run out by now anyway.
We got some hair die and colored all of the fur on the costume. Then we took combs and teased it to make it look more natural. There's a lot more video than the few that have been seen.
Erickson knew nothing about it being a hoax, neither did that biologist girl. Dave was in on it though, he even helped me put the suit on. There were a lot of videos destroyed because they weren't good enough and we didn't want them to be found.

As I said yesterday, I was the person that wore the wookie suit. It was filmed in Crittenden, Ky. where I lived at the time. I now live in Grants Lick. I had to strap foam cushions to my arms, legs and torso, to fill in the suit. Dennis was the guy that filmed me.
We love to kid around as much as anybody, but if this is a serious and truthful post we want to hear your story. In short, we'll bite--or maybe nibble.
If Matilda is a person in a costume, someone had to be wearing the costume after all. We all want to clear this matter up that has been consuming a chunk of our lives for the past several years. DeleteFor those uninitiated, please realize there are many different Chewie masks that have been made over the years, and they are not all 100% identical. But if you look at "Matilda" is is very obvious it is the same overall facial structure as Chewbacca. Nothing else really looks like Chewbacca, and that includes real animals.
Although, if they could provide an image of this supposed sasquatch with it's mouth closed and no teeth showing I might consider the possibility it is not a mass-produced Chewbacca mask... otherwise it's case closed as far as I am concerned.

Everyone has been talking about lawsuits and such on Bill Munns, but just wondering wouldn't Erickson have a better case against Dennis if he had something to do with it, and most of all the family who was hoaxing him? He would have lost money for purchasing fraudulent video and he bought that land based on false claims. Isn't that fraud perpetrated on Erickson, possibly even a crime? Even though it may be embarrassing to say I bought this property because these people said a family of bigfoots lived on it, lol.

DeleteThe teeth aren't the clincher, 5:19, because you'll notice the Matilda face has a protruding mouth like that of a chimp. The wookie on the left in profile has human mouth proportions. This doesn't look much like the wookie costume.

DeletePatterson drew that picture to illustrate the Ostman story. The description is from Ostman, Patterson drew according to the description Ostman gave in his story. Ostman described the female and Patterson drew it accordingly.
I have the book here, the edition with the Christopher Murphy afterword. The drawing you reference is on page 121. It is of Ostman's "Old Lady" bigfoot.
This looks nothing like Patty. The head is a flat-top with a lump and not conical; the breasts are flaccid.
Not only does it not look like Patty, the fact that he drew it before the PGF has no bearing on anything at all, as Ostman's story was much earlier, and Patterson was illustrating Ostman's story. Patterson drew the entire bigfoot family to illustrate Ostman's story, the Old Man, Girl, and Boy; there are four drawings. All of these drawings are in the Patterson book. These four drawings accompany the Ostman story section of Patterson's book.
You are spreading disinformation to claim Patterson drew Patty before seeing and filming Patty. That's not so. The description came from Ostman, not Patterson.
So now, 4:14 and Fred, you can see that 4:06 is inaccurate, and also note 4:14 that they are not "the same breasts," not even close.
You can get or borrow the book and see Patterson's Ostman drawings and you'll see this was just another attempt by a skeptard to spread false information.
In Patterson's book, there is no pre-Patty Patty drawing. The drawing of the female Old Lady is of Ostman's described creature.
Further, none of Patterson's drawings in this book show a conical head which would anticipate the shape of Patty's head. The illustrated creatures have flattish or rounded heads, not the gorilla-type of conehead often reported later and visible on Patty.

DeleteThe obvious reason Patty had to be female is so it would be smaller, therefore a large man could pull off a female but it would be pretty hard to fake a 10 ft. adult male effectively. So the breasts is just the logical addition on a female. It's not some uniquely brilliant or clever idea really.

1.Either the these pictures ar not the real pictures from the project
2.The pictures are from the project, but are from the "fake" Video Erickson was offered in the beginning.
3.Erickson hasn't seen Star Wars and was hoaxed. (But how did this work all out? Somone always laid more over 5 years down in the woods in a Chewbacca dress and waited to be filmed by the team for several times?)
4.Erickson hoaxed us (but why did he made such a website and did not choose a better mask than chewbacca which everyone in the world knows)
5. This is all a big conspiracy by the goverments. Bigfoot does in fact exist. Melba and Erickson have the real stuff and are on their way to prove Sasquatch real existence.
And everything is a planned goverment (?) campaign to make them look laughable in front of us an the comunity? (The youtube discussion about the DNA Studie, the Chewbacca stills).
Maybe Erickson has the real and clear video evidence but they force him/set him under pressure not to show it. And know they spread this pictures.
Like the story in Roswell, where the witnesser first explained he saw an UFO and then had to show a weather Balloon (Matilda pictures=weather balloon).
The truth is out there...

I take her word over any of the other major players that are out there lately: Dyer, FB/FB, Musky Allen, Justin Smeja. The mouth on chewie is way different than "Matilda" on the side profile... Not saying anything is accurate with this, just an observation, can't completely compare this to a chewbacca mask. Not saying bigfoot is real, just saying.
