Watch this: "Juvenile Bigfoot" reacts to gunshot sounds at Umatilla Indian Reservation

Locals claim they have been hearing these strange noises coming from the swamp on the Umatilla Indian Reservation since November. According to tenants, the cries and screams sound like it's coming from a young Bigfoot, probably lost from his clan. According to Justin, the man in the following video, locals are familiar with foxes and cougars and he says the cries and laughter sounds like it's coming from something with a bigger diaphragm. During the recording of the video, someone fires off a rifle and the sound changes.

Justin writes:

You be the judge...not sure what was going on January 21, 2013 on the Umatilla Indian Reservation in eastern Oregon @ 11 pm last night but this is the strange audio/video I picked up. Squatch activity seems like its happening almost ever night w/ multiple audio & visual sights from credible people lately around and near Mission, Oregon. There has been a ton of notoriety about Bigfoot in our community lately, with some saying the strange noises coming from the swamp late at night is simple a coyote, fox or cougar-I honestly have no explanation either way. Whatever it is, it sounds like it has a large diaphragm, can change tones & decibels w/ ease, and sounds pretty "Squatchy" to me, after doing a lot of research on the matter. It is what it is, and this is what happened to me in the middle of the CTUIR community last night. PS after the third gunshot, listen real close, what is that thing vocalizing? That's the strangest part of the video IMHO. Peace, JQ

He doesn't appear to be drunk, so I'm guessing not an indian.

    1. After listening to the enhanced audio it almsot sounds like a coyote, as anything close to it sounds. In my opinion it doesn't sound much like one totally. Coyotes usually won't go on and on like that alone. I have heard baby coyotes whine but not that loud and or as long. After the 3rd and then immediate 4th gunshot it sounds like right after. The scream almost sounds like a coyote but the throat noise was deep and gutteral sounding! Not 100% positive it's Bigfoot but I can't say in my opinion that it wasn't! If you can get ahold of this guy to check the woods or swamp right there for further evidence would help!

    2. Hi John,

Yea he did do some investigating around the swampy area, found nothing so far. I believe he's asking around the locals about who may have fired shots off. It is interesting how it reacts kinda gutteral sounding!

Agreed, coyotes usually don't go on and on like that, and in that way.

  7. I have heard that call a couple times. I still am not sure what it was, but I thought it was a peacock. They can sound like babies crying and laughing too. Plus their calls carry forever. Could be wrong, but I have heard very similar calls without the laughter parts.

It really did sound like what ever was hit by the last shot. Maybe we will get an answer today of what made the noises.

    1. I was told by a guy who was a local bigfoot researcher that the call was a bigfoot. I had called him when the calls started and let him listen to them. I don't know what they were, but thought peacock. I have heard peacocks before and know their calls can carry a long way. But amped 10 times? That would give me pause for sure. Maybe a couple I heard were bigfoot and maybe the rest peacocks.

That is a crosswalk sign, not a bigfoot crossing sign. They use some without lines on them in Oregon. Do a google image search and you can see the various signs.

A hundred yards into a swamp in pitch dark? What kind of camera do you have?
Also, maybe a coyote, but that's pretty unusual range of noise coming from the thing. Generally no coyote sounds like that. I've heard a group of them go off and make some pretty interesting warbling noises, but not like this. Especially the part after the last gunshot.

    ReplyDelete
  30. You can almost hear the bigfoot equivalent of "shit" after the 3rd shot.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Only some of the sounds were similar to coyote but coyotes don't produce anything with that sort of duration. Also, the laughter is different. The animal's reaction to the last shot, whether hit or not, was most certainly not a coyote. Very interesting. Would welcome some follow up investigation.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Coyotes make some pretty trippy sounds and this is pretty trippy. So, either a coyote getting shot in the ass or Bobo pinchin an uncooperative loaf.
