Watch this: Golden Eagle Snatches Kid, Almost Gets Away With The Kid [WTF] (Updated)

WTF?! This looks like the real deal. A family almost loses their kid to a golden eagle at a park in Montreal. They were lucky the eagle decided to drop the baby a few meters away.

According to accounts, golden eagles have been known to knock mountain goats off cliffs, plunging them to their deaths to later feed on them. A human walking on a narrow mountain path can suffer the same fate they say. The Philippine eagle has also been reported to lift a small pig and a small dog.

    Yes people, birds come in different sises including pretty fucking big. This shit is getting powerfully irrelevant.     Given that the incident occurred in Canada, it was definitely appropriate to use the measurement of meters rather than feet or yards, but you should know that the correct spelling of the term is "metres."

      I'm not Anon 11:23, but I question your statement that “Rush is generally regarded as one of the greatest prog rock bands in history”. Generally regarded infers that that is an opinion which most people share, which I find highly dubious. Rush is an extremely divisive rock band. People tend to love it or hate it. I'm one of the few that has no strong opinion one way or the other, but I don't think that they are generally regarded as great. The Beatles were generally regarded as famous, Beethoven is generally regarded as dead, but Rush isn't generally regarded as anything.

      I am 11:23 and as a musician myself I agree that the members of Rush are highly talented and skilled musicians. Unfortunately the sum of these ultra talented parts doesn't make music of equal caliber. Therefore I contend that other "bands" with less talented parts and true synergy are superior because they are easier on the ears. That's too long to type so "Rush Sucks" is officially my short response.

    Fake or not, golden eagles are the largest of all raptors. The are more than capable of taking a baby. Watch "Planet Earth" and you can see golden eagles in Mongolia taking out prey much larger than a human baby.

      I must correct myself, golden eagles are AMONG the largest raptors, (Andean Condors/other condors/vultures and a few eagles-Harpy eagles, Stellar Eagles, Phillipine Eagles to name a few) can be larger, but they are all HUGE to say the least. I think that golden eagles have white on the tail and underside of the wing if at all, not on the top though, I could be wrong on that though because there are several sub-species of golden eagle.

      Once last point...Golden eagles are a favorite in falconry. I have heard of golden eagles used to hunt small deer, wolves and other 'large' prey by Asian falconers. Although I haven't seen this in practice it seems feasible.

BREAKING: Finding Bigfoot Production Company Seeks Filming Permit In Virginia

Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works.
