Cliff Barackman Releases Brown Thermal Bigfoot Footage

The screen shot above is a still from the thermal footage that Facebook Finding Bigfoot wanted to release but decided not to after stating that they didn't have permission to share it. A representative for FBFB even came forward to address rumors that it may be a hoax by FBFB. "Steve I’ve seen the video that was promised on the 10th and FBFB did not release it last night nor will it be released for a while and that is because one of the two owners do not want it released. That video is a F.L.I.R film.", Adam Bird wrote to SquatchDetetcive, Steve Kulls, concerning the rumor.

We now know what footage they were referring to-- It's a footage Stacy Brown Sr./Jr. (www.thesasquatchhunters.com) originally shared with FBFB investigators and it was filmed in Florida back in May 8, 2012. Cliff Bacrackman was also asked to analyze the clip and this is what he wrote:

On May 8, 2012, a very interesting piece of thermal footage was obtained by Stacy Brown Sr. in Florida. His son, Stacy Brown Jr., contacted me a while back to ask for my help with trying to authenticate the footage. Knowing that no footage can ever be proven to be a bigfoot beyond a doubt (some folks still doubt the Patterson/Gimlin Film, after all) I set about trying to extract as much information out of the clip as possible. Perhaps some of this information could shed some light on whether or not the clip could even be considered as real. Below are my thoughts and conclusions on this remarkable piece of footage.

Here's the footage:

You can read the full analysis by Cliff Barackman on his blog at: cliffbarackman.com

Phil Poling of Team Tazer gives us his thoughts on the video:

I have examined this footage. I understand that this was filmed in an opposite field. That is a negative where the normally white thermal image is reversed making some aspects of the scene appear normal. This makes sense here. The subject has no motion blur. But that is normal under these conditions. Motion blur doesn't exist under thermal imaging because it's not an optical capture, it's a temperature capture and is only limited by the rate of recording capability. Thus, this looks like an authentic recording of a thermal Flir image. The only point I have issue with is that it was reported to have been filmed while walking down a trail and it looks like there is no up and down movement to it. It may have been on a tripod. It may have also been carried with them but I don't know. But it looks good. - Phil

    1. Thought the thermal video that FBFB didn't release was supposed to be like 5 minutes long or something? Is this just a snippet or the whole thing? Or am I mistaken?

  4. I can't beleive there was so much hoopla about that video! You only see the figure for a second and it could easily be a person. Very disappointing... But that is the life of a footer.

    1. As Cliff explained (if you actually read it), there was a lot of info to be gleaned from that small clip. I wouldn't call it disappointing at all.

    1. Cliff did a really good job on this and the Browns were some lucky people. However this can happen if one just gets out there and they had the right technology at the right time.

I was impressed before I read Cliff's analysis and after I too am quite convinced they got a Sasquatch.

Job well done by the Browns.

    2. This has got some good reviews!

      Servings: 8 servings
      Prep Time: 20 min
Cook Time: 1 hour 30 min
      Difficulty: Easy
      Ingredients Add to grocery list

1 cup butter (2 sticks), plus 1 tablespoon
      3/4 cup all-purpose flour
      1/2 chopped yellow onion
      1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
      2 cloves garlic, minced
      1 cup sliced fresh okra
      3 cups shrimp stock
      2 cups bottled clam juice
1 cup chopped canned tomatoes with juice
      3 bay leaves
      1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
      1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
      1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
      1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups cooked smoked sausage, sliced diagonally
2 pounds shrimp, cleaned and deveined

      Serving suggestion: Cooked white rice

      Directions

In a large heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt 1 cup of the butter. Add the flour, and cook on low heat until the roux is dark brown; about 30 to 45 minutes, stirring constantly. *Cook’s Note: Brown does not mean burnt; if you burn the roux you have to throw it out and start over again.

Add the onions, celery, peppers and garlic and saute until translucent.

Mix in the okra and the remaining ingredients, including the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter, and simmer over medium-low heat until thick, about 1 hour. Before serving, remove the bay leaves. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve over white rice, if desired.

  14. All thermal footage is useless, including this one, if you're trying to provide evidence/proof for the existence of bigfoot. Thermal footage is easier to fake than regular footage.

Thermal footage will prove nothing to anyone who doesn't already believe that bigfoot exists.

The only thing that a thermal camera might be good for is to locate a sasquatch to blast it with a gun in order to get a specimen.
