This "Bear Charges Horse in Glacier National Park" Looks Like a Bad Bigfoot Hoax Video

When a person films a Sasquatch and decides to run away before getting a clear shot, most people will automatically think it's a hoax (see Provo Canyon, Utah Bigfoot Encounter). We have to admit, we feel the same way with a lot of purported Bigfoot videos we've been posting here. To be fair, we have to put ourselves in the filmer's shoes. How many of us would stand there and keep filming if we're unsure of the threat? This bear encounter with a person on a horse reminds us that a normal person, when faced with danger would actually stop filming and only a crazy person would continue to film.

    1. Dear Poop in a Jar Guy, it has been brought to my attention that you have in your possession a large collection of vintage poops in a jar. As I am an officianado of fine poop, I humbly request the opportunity to tour your cellars and perhaps purchase some of your oldest and most rare poops in a jar. Ahhh, my taste buds dance just thinking about the robust nutty undertones and sour flavor profiles of your poop in a jar. Please answer back to this post in haste, Shit Eating Gorilla.

  2. There is a creature moving in the background when the kid gives an description of the video. I could not identify it!

Pretty certain it could have been a bigfoot.

The bear is literally charging, or at least bluff-charging them. The Provo canyon bear/'bigfoot' non-nonchalantly stood up, it didn't even appear that it saw the film makers. It sure didn't look like a danger.

  4. Bears eat people all the time. Bigfoots only eat pancakes, ride trains and braid hair.

  5. This bear needs to be managed and hunted.

Or if that offends your sensitivities then lets create an open landfill to let him and 50 of his colleagues eat for free.

Or lets feed them from our back yards and watch them eventually break down our back doors.

Game management is quite literally one of the few perfect systems in this world.

    1. Hey dude,

If you got a problem with “animal rights” activists then go shoot one or something, but here's no need to come here and start up some drama when none is warranted.

  6. I finally read the narrative.

Ok, I can guess that this is why people are scared and they run away after 1 second. But so does BF.

So as Special forces do, or as hunters do practice steeling yourself for the big moment.

Don't get Buck fever, wartime engagement anxiety or BF shakes. But rather be brave, strong, and tenacious.

I remember reading about a BF encounter where the guy in the Pac NW saw a BF then drove around a corner and got out of his car, circles back on foot and walked up to the BF. His wife may have honked the horn, but he may have been close up as the report reads to this BF.

They may have seen eye to eye.

Grunt yourself as they teach in self defense classes, if you try to react from too high in your throat you will choke; but if it comes from deep down, you will gain control of your awareness and be easily steeled.

    1. Um, here's a thought: shut the fuck up!

If you want to be a moron and get yourself eaten by wild animals then that's your own prerogative. But telling other people to put themselves in harms way is a really douche baggy thing to do.

    2. Ok, then.

Thanks dude, all because of you we will have coward researchers running away at 1 second for the next 100 years.

      Thanks

And by the way, since you told me to STFU then you must be a liberal that doesn't like the 1st amendment. It's called freedom of speech.

Did you like the Berlin Wall and all it stood for?

    3. WTF does being liberal have to do with the first amendment? Have you ever heard of the ACLU? F-ing Berlin wall my ass, what the hell did you have to do with the Berlin wall? Researchers don't run away in 1 second, little girls being attacked by bears do. Researchers go UNARMED into to the field and conduct a little thing called 'scientific analysis', not make stupid political references of which you obviously do not know what you are talking about. I am not even a liberal, but your comment was so ridiculously ignorant I have to call you out.

  7. I think this video makes a good point, regarding the tendency to stop filming during a panic. Seeing this actually changed my thinking about this. hmm.

  14. So what you are saying is that because a little girl got scared of a bear charge, no one has the balls to get a good shot? How about if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, swims like a duck, it is a duck. If a video looks like a hoax, it is a hoax, duh.

  15. Confirmed on 3 points, ITS A BEAR!! where is BB/BB

  16. A Bigfoot wouldn't charge like that. It would stay hidden until the last 2 seconds of film then sprint faster the Usain Bolt.
