These giant-19 inch footprints were recently found near a river somewhere in Midwest Alberta Canada. Twitter user, Richard Beaunoyer, tweeted the following photographs to Matt Moneymaker claiming his "friends came upon these" alongside a riverbank.

  1. If that's real, then that's one big squatch, the thing must be over 10 ft tall!

    1. My first thought was that this track has been created by something approximately 6 feet tall. Not convinced.

    2. The average length of purported bigfoot tracks is about 15" which makes since since not all individuals will be an adult of the largest proportions. You need a better reason than the individual was about 6 feet tall and therefore not convincing. The average height in sightings is just over 7 feet and that is not corrected for potential error because of fear or shock. There are very small casts in the 5 and 6 inch range in association with much larger. You need to focus on something more than the similarity to humans as indicating not a Bigfoot, because they are similar to our species.

    3. I believe him. His friends are Greg Brady and Danny Partridge.

  2. I'm no expert, but it looks like its dug out. The toes look extremely fake and square. The separation between the big toe and index toe is a dead give away, does not look natural. Additionally the ground appears to be composed of rock entirely, no mud furthering the idea of it being dug out. I'm a believer but also a skeptic to evidence and this looks completely fake

    1. Yup. If it was big and heavy enough to go an inch or so into the sediment, then thered be much more tracks along with this one. Calling fake.

    2. I agree the toes just do not look right.

    3. Don't know if it was faked, but pretty clear print. From the top photo, if the print is 19", there's only about 19" more of that loose dirt/gravel to step in, so its stride would easily have carried its next footstep into the grassy area beyond. There may be more footprints, but just not on as good ground material.

    1. Lol, good one. Since I'm already here, I'll add my two cents. The foot print just doesn't look right to me because of the way the toes are.
The ground looks hard packed and the prints are deep. Notice the large rock right beside the instep, it's perfectly in place as if the print was dug around the rock. Wet gravel/dirt to the left of the print but no where else.
Look at the nice green grass. This photo was taken much earlier or it was taken somewhere else. All the grass I've seen around the province is dead or covered with snow.
I'd sure like to know where he took these photos. It sure can't be where he lives because Llyodminster straddles the Alberta/Saskatchewan border.
I'm going to go with "not authentic" with this one. Oh, and where are the other prints?
      Is this GbP?^^^^^^^^^^

  5. Why is the big toe mark so small? I think it's faked.

  6. I agree, if it was heavy enough to make one there would be more .

  10. The gravel material does not look like a natural alluvial layer- the gradation, colors, and how it buts up against and goes over the adjacent organics. The gravel layer was placed above the natural silty/organic layer in the flood plain and a mold of the prints was removed as the filling of the gravel layer continued. Some of it rolled back onto the footprint as the mold was removed...There you have it- FAKE.
