Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett To Officially Proclaim 'Bigfoot Day', November 16th


Today at 5 p.m.-7 p.m., Tim Burchett, the mayor of Knox County Tennessee, will officially declare November 16th as "Bigfoot Day". The mayor and the cast of Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot will be meeting at Powell Auction in Pleasant Ridge road where they will be available for autographs and pictures. WHEN: Friday, November 16 2012. 5:00pm – 7:00pm

WHERE: Powell Auction House. 6729 Pleasant Ridge Road, Knoxville TN

Join Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett and the cast of the hit Animal Planet television program “Finding Bigfoot” as they ring in the proclamation of the official Knox County Bigfoot Day!

After a brief ceremony, the cast of “Finding Bigfoot”; Matt Moneymaker, James “Bobo” Fey, Cliff Barakman and Ranae Holland; will make themselves available for autographs and pictures.

The event is free and open to the public! There will be a marching band, a bounce house and face painting! Concessions will be available for a nominal fee.

  3. As if there are any large primates there, other than Bubba at the Boar's Nest Inn. Seriously. The mountain gorilla of Africa is found in the mountains. The waste of time in these non-traditional territories boggles my mind. Now all of you go find one in the Pacific Northwest please, and I'll sit back in my armchair and cheer you on.
