Breaking: Igor Burtsev: Ketchum Bigfoot DNA Manuscript Has Been Submitted To A Scientific Reviewed Magazine

Break news from Dr. Igor Burtsev in Russia. Ketchum's Bigfoot DNA paper has been submitted to a scientific peer-reviewed magazine. According to Burtsev, the mitochondrial data in some of the samples sent to Dr. Melba Ketchum suggests that there was some kind of "hybridization" event that occurred less than 15,000 years ago. The study also suggest that the origin of this hominin was probably "Middle Eastern/Eastern Europe and Europe originally". "It is human like us only different, a hybrid of a human with unknown species," Burtsev announced on his Facebook wall.

Below is his statement from a few hours ago:

URGENT announcement from Igor Burtsev ...

"International Center of Hominology (Russia)
Urgent!

The DNA analysis of the Bigfoot/Sasquatch specimen conducted by Dr. Melba Ketchum the head of DNA Diagnostics, Timpson, TX, USA has been over!

Team of American scientists led by Dr. Melba Ketchum for five years has analyzed 109 purported samples of such creatures. The study has sequenced DNA of a novel North American hominin, commonly called Bigfoot or Sasquatch.

There were a large number of laboratories associated with this study including academic, private and government laboratories in which blind testing was utilized to avoid prejudice in testing. Great time and care was taken in the forensic laboratories to assure no contamination occurred with any of the samples utilized in this study.

After 5 years of this study the scientists can finally answer the question of what sasquatch really is. It is human like us only different, a hybrid of a human with unknown species. Early field research shows that the Bigfoot/Sasquatches are massively intelligent which has enabled them to avoid detection to a large extent. They are different than us, however human nonetheless.

The hybridization event could not have occurred more than 15000 years ago according to the mitochondrial data in some samples. Origin of this hominin was probably Middle Eastern/Eastern Europe and Europe originally though other geographic areas are not excluded.

The manuscript associated with this study has been submitted to a scientific reviewed magazine.

For years people have refused to believe they exist. Now that we know that they are real, it is up to us to protect them from those that would hunt or try to capture them for research or for sport. They should be left alone to live as they live now. After all, they are our relatives.

At this time, analysis of the Sasquatch genomes is still ongoing. Further data will be presented in the future following this original study. Additionally, analysis of various hair samples purportedly from Siberian Wildman are being tested in an effort to determine if relatedness exists between the Sasquatch and Russian Wildman.

    1. Jerry Jones I think is the real culprit in the Cowboys mediocrity. Dude is not a GM. Hes has gotten the crazy Uncle Al (Davis) syndrome, and has been trying to go back to the well, too many times. The NFL evolves teams need to evolve with it. Davis right up to his death was trying to re-live the 70's... Joe Gibbs, he won 3 super bowls with 3 different qb's. He tried to come back with the style that made him a 3 time winner, only to find that didnt work anymore, the game had passed him up. The Packers after Lombardi spent the next 20 years trying to relive the "glory years" even hiring a few old Packer greats as coaches. They spent the Next 20 chasing the Lombardi ghost only to make the playoffs once in that span.

Tony Romo would be fine in the right system. The failure falls on the GM to put the right pieces around him. Romo is not Aikman, Dez is not Irvin, and The second coming of Emmitt is not in the turnstill of RB's in the last 10 years. But its not for lack of trying to re create the magic. Its because of a crazy old man and his failure to move on.

  8. To get actial comments in here, this is a HUGE claim that Igor is making. He is now bringing in Ketchum into this. If she does anything but denies this, then there is a good chance this could all be true. However, Igor has apparently lied in the past, so his word is not one to be trusted 100%

  14. The problem is that any "scientific journal" is already biased against anything Sasquatch, so it's likely any paper, however genuine and accurate, will do the rounds and get rejected by all the "experts" because, like Timmy, they all cling nervously to the There's No Such Thing nonsense.

What journal would give this info a fair shake? The paper will doubtless go the rounds and be rejected for publication by all of them, and the author will be forced to publish it online, then all the silly Timmies of the world get to jump up and down that it wasn't published by a scientific journal.

    You see how that works?

If the Timmies of the world would stop hyperventilating and relax and just let it go, we might get somewhere. But the implications for evolution vs. religion are huge and there will be big power and big money against these results being "respectably" published.

The majority of scientists will be hyperventilating too, very nervous that this should be suppressed. If the paper is for real and accurate, the naysaying skeptics will probably continue to be able to have their cake and eat it too, because of its likely suppression.

Skeptics want it both ways, you see.

Also, there will be hired-gun scientists paid to attack the results and methods used. There will be endless attacks on this paper if published. It will just go on and on with some scientists damning it and claiming the results are faulty and false.

It will be another case of the dueling experts, with non-experts wondering whom to believe.

    1. If the article talks about nephilim and bibical giants no one in academia will even read it, no matter where it lands. If scientists read it and there is a debate about it, then it does not matter if its self-published or otherwise non-peer reviewed. There still will be academic activity around it, and that is what really matters.
Remember, people engaged Grover Krantz even when his theories were published in books, not journals.

  20. 15,000 years ago and beyond was a time when humans were getting smarter, developing hunt strategy, and domesticating animals. Large size was no longer necessary. The ice age was over and mammals were becoming more efficient.

Nothing Igor says fits any scientific model. It cannot be correct. He has no credibility if he maintains this position.

The Ketchum project was not a hoax. It was a fraud. Its purpose was to steal miney from a wealthy investor who was a Bigfoot advocate.

  22. There seem to be some thinking that Igor has suggested that this Ketchum paper is going to be published in a Russian journal.
To clarify, I think: Igor does not mean it will be published in Russia, but that he is aware of the results and it will eventually be published if it passes peer review. This isn't news. However, the recent situation in Russia involved false news reports that Igor refuted rather vehemently, and Igor sought to make a press release of some sort to correct the false statements and assumptions. His press release is the words above, apparently to be published in the Russian media.

What is of some interest here is that he mentions "further analysis" of the DNA samples ongoing, seemingly separate from the Ketchum study. I wonder if he has samples in the Sykes study. If not, then we have yet another study on our hands.

Also, here he is saying that Bigfoot are human, but not human, but still human:
"It is human like us only different, a hybrid of a human with unknown species. Early field research shows that the Bigfoot/Sasquatches are massively intelligent which has enabled them to avoid detection to a large extent. They are different than us, however human nonetheless."

The Russians are well known for hoaxes so it's difficult to believe anything that comes from there. I don't completely disregard Dr. Burtsev, but a confirmation from a reliable source would help.
I also thought, according to Ketchum, that no details could be released until the paper passed review. Dr. Burtsev doesn't give us all the details but he certainly gave more details than we have ever had regarding this particular study.

  24. Believe me, it will never work, I spent five (count 'em five) years researching and writing a comprehensively detailed and documented academic paper regarding the overwhelming evidence of the existence of "Owl Man." (just to give you an idea, there were more than 10,000 footnotes included in the thesis). The paper was soundly rejected by every scientific journal in the world, although members of certain editorial boards told me confidentially that they were greatly persuaded by my research. To be frank, it is impossible for the mainstream scientific community to open their thick, ivy covered doors to anything smacking of cryptozoology. Sadly, this does not appear to be changing anytime soon.

  38. Probably a hybrid of gigantopithecus and homosapiens. But then, there are other hominin and primate species we don't know about yet. They existed and are now extinct, leaving no trace or the traces have not been found yet. This could help explain why there seem to be geographical variations. The smaller skunk ape may have hybridized further with smaller humans, such as one of the smaller/shorter indian tribes in mexico. Just conjecture, but I am really excited to see and read the final release of info.
