Watch this: One of Antarctica's Deadliest Predators Tries To Nurture a National Geographic Photographer

When a Nat Geo photographer got up close and personal with one of Antarctica's most vicious predators, he expected the worst-- but that's not what happened. Instead, something amazing and beautiful took place when he slipped and fell into the icy water. Check it out.

  2. Now for all you dummies out there. It's an anomaly. Don't go trying to pet seals, bear cubs, wild cat kittens or handling reptiles you know nothing about!

And especially, don't go f--king around with a bigfoot. Large or small.

Unless you been feeding them pancakes of course.

  7. Those are not milk teeth for sucking on teets. Those teeth are for tearing chunks of flesh off. Seals are very playful with scuba divers up here in Wa, but can get aggressive and injure or kill a person. Like Windigo Mid said, they are wild animals. I have handled huge octopus while diving but others get bit and lose fingers. Same with sea turtles. Hell look at the crocodile bloke who died from a sting ray barb. Animals have defenses that can kill us easy, but they will also show interest and even kindness to humans. We just have to remember to respect them.
