Robert Lindsay: Bart Cutino unveils five full minutes of thermal footage showing at least two Bigfoots in the Sierra Nevada

Even though we were just there at the event, we couldn't make it to the hotel in time to avoid getting scooped by Robert Lindsay. Yes-- There was, indeed, a presentation by Bart Cutino at the  Bigfoot Discovery Days Event about the thermal footage of multiple Bigfoots taken in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Here's the scoop:

Bart Cutino delivered an interesting presentation – a video of five full minutes of thermal footage showing 3-4 Bigfoots in the Sierra Nevada – at Day 5 of the Bigfoot Discovery Days Event at Mike Rugg’s Bigfoot Museum in Felton, California tonight, October 20, 2012. The footage was shot in late August 2012 at a research location in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. Those present were Justin Smeja, Shawn Evidence, Bart Cutino, Ro Sahebi and tow other men named “Todd” and “Michael L..”

They went to the location, which is deep in the Sierras away from all crowds at about 7000 feet elevation. They encountered no one along the primitive road to the locale. They camped in either the forest or a meadow – at any rate, they did not camp in a campground, primitive or otherwise.

At around 1:30 AM, Cutino and Shawn took a road that circled up above the camp. The circled up to the top of the loop to a point where they could look down on the campground about 130 yards below where Ro and the new fellow were hanging out by the fire. Justin was asleep at the time.

Bart had a state of the art video camera with FLIR technology for night vision. He was about to give up when he noticed figures in a draw about 100 yards below. Incredulous, he focused further, and noted a bipedal figure moving back and forth in the shadowed and shaded draw. Another bipedal figure was up against a tree, motionless.

Bart filmed about an hour of tape until his last battery ran out. In that hour of tape, an edited down version produced about five minutes of Bigfoot footage within the space of that hour. Hence, the Bigfoots were present about 8% of the time he was filming.

At one point, a larger Bigfoot appeared and threw what appeared to be a rock. Towards the end of the footage, what may be a fourth Bigfoot appears. The Bigfoot walking back and forth may be an adolescent or a female. It was later estimated to be ~6’2. A larger Bigfoot was ~7′ tall, and the biggest one of all was estimated at an incredible 9′.

When they got back to the camp at about 2:30 PM, Ro and the new fellow were quite agitated and jumpy. They had seen “shadows dancing” in the ambient light above the camp just up the hill from the camp. On top of that, at one point, three deer ran into their camp and stood there next to the two men, frozen motionless. The deer were apparently terrified of the Bigfoots.

Bart had to wrestle with himself for some time about releasing it as he did not feel that the footage was conclusive. The footage is from 100 yards away, and all you can see is bipedal figures moving or standing in the woods at a distance.

They look more or less like people. However, there were no other humans spotted on the way into the site that day, and none were heard in the area at night either. Truth is they were in the middle of the wilderness, miles away from any humans or camps. 3-4 bipedal creatures, all of whom were from pretty tall to insanely tall, were heard and then seen and photographed moving around the wilderness woods without using flashlights.

Not sure if you have ever been camping in the wilderness before, but you simply do not see or hear other humans walking around in the woods in the middle of the night with no flashlight. In fact, you won’t see or hear any humans in the woods even with flashlights after the sun goes down. The only thing you see or hear in the deep woods at night are animals.

Hence, I do not believe it is possible that the 3-4 large figures in the video were mysterious humans who sneaked up on a wilderness camp and walked around in the woods at night without flashlights while throwing rocks.

Over the past few months, one 8-night trip was taken to the site. Bill Munns helped with the height identifications. It was only after extensive investigations were done that Bart decided to make the video and make his presentation.

The footage has not yet been released, but I will soon be able to see a version of it. The footage will probably be released in 1-2 months and is sure to be controversial. Surely there will be many cries of “Hoaxer!”
