In this old account of an alleged Bigfoot sighting, the hunting party catches the creature in the act of "destroying snakes and frogs". One wonders if the creature was planning on eating them, or if even Bigfoot believes the only good snake is a dead snake???

A Wild Man Discovered Near New Hampton, NY
New York Times pg.5 August 7, 1870

A wild man has been discovered near New Hampton, Orange County, who is creating quite an excitement in that vicinity. A few days ago a party of gentlemen were out shooting along the Big Ditch, a stream which flows through the town, when their attention was attracted by a strane being in a nude state, with long hair and a wild appearance, who appeared to be a man who had been running wild for some time, and who probably has been living in the mountains. He was apparently busy in the destruction of frogs and snakes and when he observed the party he set up a fierce yell and fled for the woods. A small pary gave chase, but was unable to ascertain his whereabouts. He has since been seen by several of the citizens of Dolsentown, but he manages to keep always at a distance. It is probable that he is an escaped lunatic.

    I just want to thank you for all that you do for the bigfoot community. After reading your post "Wild Man Seen Destroying Frogs And Snakes (1870)" I'm certain we are on the verge of solving the Bigfoot mystery any day now.

    In fact, for me this post has solved the Bigfoot mystery. But I know the skeptic trolls around here may be a bit harder to persuade.

      I once commented on Warrant's video "Cherry Pie" as being the absolute worst music ever created.

      Some brain dead fan called me "UltimateHomo" then too. I thought it was pretty funny. Wish I thought of it, but alas, someone else came up with it first. Then you came up with it second. Unless... Do you like Warrant? Bigfoot chick? You like Warrant, don't you?

    seriously, the only things the Bigfoot Chicks have posted are old articles clearly dealing with people who have a mental illness, or old obviously faked videos. They dont even right much in each post...

BREAKING: Finding Bigfoot Production Company Seeks Filming Permit In Virginia

Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.

Bigfoot injured by a forest fire was taken away and hidden by the authorities, not even Robert Lindsay can top this story

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns".
