Why Do Bigfoot Hunters Need Metal Detectors?

Subaru recently kicked off their fall advertisement campaign in Norway. Apparently, the Norwegians love the Finding Bigfoot show. Besides the Norwegian language, we don't understand one thing. What does the Bigfoot enthusiast in the video need a metal detector for?

Last time we checked, metal detectors only detect metal. Unless Bigfoot poops out metal, we don't see any reason for him to have one. We've been Bigfooting with a lot of researchers and not once have we seen anyone with a metal detector.

    He doesn´t say why he uses a metal detector only that he will apply scientific methods to find bigfoot. The detector acts as a representation of their naive belief i guess.

      Metal Detector would be used to find a corpse that would have been shot,&it was not a killshot. It would run off and bleedout,& die,or die later from the gunshot wound that did not kill it immediately. That would be the only reason that a metal detector would be used.

    Is their so little happening that whoever wrote this had to pick apart a picture of a guy in a campsite with a metal detector. Assuming that b/c the detector was their that it obviously had to be used for bigfooting. Its sad that this was even posted as a topic.

    Just how do you know that the Norwegians supposedly love Finding Bigfoot. The TV show has never aired on Norwegian TV. Not even the Norwegian Animal Planet airs it.

      I wasn't really asking anything about the actual video he's commenting on, was I? I was referring to his statement that "Finding Bigfoot" is apparently popular in Norway, when the show has never aired here.

    That was very funny, even though I have no idea what he was saying. I'm a squatcher also and I also bring a metal detector on my trips. Its good camp intertainment and I like to think it makes the squatches more interested in why I'm there. You never know what you will dig up. So far I've found 4 throwing knives, an axe, a bunch of change including a silver dollar from 1892, and twice my detector has been moved from one place to another while we were sleeping... so you never know. Still a very funny commercial.

    Btw. with Bigfoot reports from Norway, you can be certain it is a hoax, all Norwegians are pathological liers and attention seekers.
    This video is a car commercial and was actually somewhat funny and I doubt it is even made by Norwegians.

Bigfoot injured by a forest fire was taken away and hidden by the authorities, not even Robert Lindsay can top this story

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns".
