The New Generation of Bigfooters
It's a snapshot of the currently state of the Bigfoot community. This isn't your grandfather's club anymore. If you've been in Bigfooting a long time, you might be asking who some of these people are.
The era of John Green, Rene Dahinden, Grover Krantz and Peter Byrne is long gone. As we see it, the people making the most noise nowadays are bloggers, radio show hosts, TV hosts and YouTube personalities. It's a new generation of Bigfooters and although some of these people have never been in the woods, they possess the technical capabilities to drive the discussion.
These are the people you see talked about in Bigfoot News.

The main difference between the old guard of Krantz, Dahinden,Byrne...etc? They weren't dripping in crazy!

DeleteThe donations are for a trail camera project run by an associate of our Bluff Creek Film Site Project. Personally, I don't need them. It is not for me, but I will help with the work and presentation of results. The camera project is going to be free to all, as a crowd-funded public presentation. None of what I have done in Bigfooting has been for the money. But, I suppose the truth of such things matters not to you.

I am not questioning Shawn's character. I know from talking to him personally that he actually cares about Bigfoot issues and believes they exist now, whereas before he was just blogging about a curiosity to make money. I am callingupon him and his better nature to do something to improve this part of his blog. Not everything is a personal attack. This is an issue of principles and standards. I am sure Shawn would rather be taken seriously rather than being assumed to be exploiting Bigfoot. Many assume that, not me, but I do think he can make this blog a better venue. It is to encourage that for which I speak.
