"Labor Day Sasquatch Film"
We've seen some strange footage of Gorillas in the wild before, but this one takes the cake. This place looks nothing like the African forests we're used to seeing. If this person is trying to play it off as a real "Sasquatch", then did a good job getting filming a live animal in the wild (very difficult to do). This YouTube video is titled "Labor Day Sasquatch Film".
Oh right ... love how the cameraman continually frames the shrubbery so that it partially obscures the subject. Why exactly? It's not like the creature is moving around. It's just sitting there, doesn't even seem to be aware of the camera (which makes me think it's an animal bred in captivity, used to people gawking at it). They could have just stood there from that distance, zoomed in, ten or fifteen seconds, boom, get the hell out of there if you're still fearful. Having said that, this was probably shot at a zoo.

That's what I was thinking as well. Gorilla in a zoo. It's very possible it's one of those "escape gorillas" from a zoo.

ReplyDeleteRemember Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, on before Disney on Sundays? Marlin Perkins introduced a gorilla. He was 6' 2", and 500 lbs. A person of those dimensions would be grossly morbidly obese. But this gorilla wasn't fat. Just massively muscular and dangerous looking.
ReplyDeleteIf a gorilla can be that weight at 6' 2", imagine what a sasquatch could be at 7' to 10'. God, incredible. Their physical superiority makes us humans look pathetic.

It looks like it very well could be. The ear appears to be the same. Also check the white area below the ear- it has the same inverted triangle shape. Good observation, Blondie.
DeleteThanks, it's very close. I've tried to observe some movement of the object in the film. The quality is so poor I can't tell at all about movement to determine if it is even real, as in alive.

ReplyDeleteWhere this was taken is no matter to me, it is a gorilla in that video having said that, it makes me sick when I see these animals let lose in our State Parks to fen for themselves, this is animal crulety to the highest degree. Are Bigfoots out there, I think so, are all the videos and pic's on here them, NO, maybe 2 i have seen and I have been a Bigfooter for 25yrs, that doesn't change the fact that PEOPLE who keep wild animals for pets should be put in jail for dumping them in the woods.Linmag

I have never been in a zoo where they let you wander around in the enclosure so I am sure that is not filmed in a zoo, but the card board cut out theory is most likely. If Brock Lesnar was attacked by a mature male chimp, who would win?
