Here's The Trailer For the Movie "Bigfoot County"
Back in June, a retired park ranger named Walter Higgins posted a video describing a camera that he found in the woods near Willow Creek in Siskiyou County. Higgins downloaded the video content to his laptop and watched an "attack" on a young couple.
All that quickly turned out to be a fabrication after Guy Edwards of BigfootLunchClub.com did some digging. The YouTube video was part of a viral campaign for a new film about Bigfoot and the production company in charge was later discovered to be Grindstone Entertainment. The company pulled all the necessary tactics for making a viral video, but they weren't fooling anyone, especially Guy Edwards.
"There is only one concern we have with Walter's latest video. The last 10 seconds reveals a domain name BelieveBigfoot.com if you type it in your browser it quickly forwards to WalterHigginsBigfoot.com. Who registered that first domain name that flashes only for a second? None other than Stephon Stewart," Edwards wrote on his blog.
Here's the trailer for "Bigfoot County":
"Siskiyou County, California has the most reported Bigfoot sightings in the world. In August of 2009, a documentary filmmaker went to investigate the alleged sightings. The following footage was found in 2012."
This is not a movie for Bigfoot enthusiasts, this is a movie aimed at a dumb public looking for a silly scare movie. We have zero reported Bigfoot interactions in the last 50 years that involve any sort of violence aside from stone or stick throwing, or ape-like bluffing.
ReplyDeleteI actually find it offensive that know nothing "suits" in Hollywood paint such a false image of the creature to make a buck. That creates false, negative perception that the creature means harm.
Tell that to the hundreds of families who have lost loved ones in the wilderness never to be seen or heard from again!!! Tell that to the people who state they just knew a couple of Sasquatches was trying to lure and ambush them only to be scared when what appeared to be a weapon (to the Sasquatches) was drawn.

DeleteBull. My sighting was NOT peaceful. My crime? Driving on a remote road late at night. The Sasquatch didn't build that road - I wasn't trespassing on some deep woods territory.
DeleteThere are areas even Native Americans won't tread because they know the Sasquatch there are killers. So even if Sasquatch is a form of man, that doesn't make it safe and peaceful. Do you not watch the news? Man is a dangerous animal, actually the top predator on the planet. Now double the size and multiply the strength many-fold.
Not saying all Sasquatch are nasty predators, but this all or nothing crap has to stop. It is far more likely, that like MOST animals, there is a spectrum of disposition. It is better to approach with caution. Because if you keep informing people that Sasquatch is a happy, tree-hugging dude, some idiot is going to try to hug, get killed, and their blood is on your hands. Think of that couple in Yellowstone that tried to prove that bears only bluff charge... that ended well. And bear behavior is WELL documented.
It is a predator and it is large. Without respect you are endangering people and Sasquatch too.
Worst thing a bigfoot ever did was mind-speak a dirty word.
DeleteCome on, man. If these things are real, they will be capable of violence(like all primates, sadly). With the strength one of these things would have, judging by gorillas and orangs, it would tear you limb from limb. Of course, that does not mean I want one harmed.

Seriously we have tens of millions visit the national parks and tens of millions living next to them - yet the verified stories of attacks are near zippo.
And, yes, if frightened, starving, protecting young, or with bad mental disposition - you too could be a meal from any animal - man included. But the facts stand, there is not history that these things attack or hunt men or have kill instinct as *first* reaction - so let's not paint them in that false light. If anything, we are actively hunting them and probably have been for hundreds of thousands of years, like we did all other hominids we competed for resources with.
