Finding Bigfoot Season 3 First Episode Starts Sunday, November 11

Here's the press release for Season 3 of Finding Bigfoot. The first of 20 all-new episodes rolls out Sunday, November 11 at 10:00/9:00c with a "pre-show" at 9:00/8:00c.

"FINDING BIGFOOT" GETS EVEN BIGGER! ANIMAL PLANET TAKES SEARCH FOR SQUATCH WORLDWIDE

-- New Special Take Viewers Deeper into Investigations than Ever Before -

(New York, New York, September 18, 2012) - FINDING BIGFOOT, one of Animal Planet's top-performing series ever delivering more than 1.3M P2+ viewers in its second season, returns on Sunday, November 11, at 10 PM (ET/PT) with 20 all-new episodes that take the team of investigators farther across the globe and further into sasquatch history than they've ever traveled. A special "pre-show" airs at 9 PM (ET/PT) before the premiere episode, and with no filters and unparalleled access to the cast, fans of the show and bigfoot enthusiasts everywhere get unprecedented insight into the investigations that have become a part of pop culture.

For the first time, the intrepid cast of investigators - Bigfoot Field Research Organization (BFRO) president Matt Moneymaker, researchers James "Bobo" Fay and Cliff Barackman and skeptical scientist Ranae Holland - expand their search in North America and beyond to investigate the sasquatch phenomenon known as "yowies" in Australia and the "orang-pendek" of Indonesia.

Legends of bigfoot-type primates persist in cultures all over the globe. So the bigfoot team attempts to capture proof of these elusive Australian and Indonesian creatures by immersing itself in local yowie and orang-pendek culture and lore and using that information in their investigations. With the knowledge of the locals and their own experiences researching sasquatches, the team is hot on the trail to locate these distant cousins of the North American bigfoot in the remote terrain and jungles of these far-off lands.

Sasquatch sightings have been reported in every state of the union except Hawaii. So this season, the team continues to leave no stone unturned and no piece of credible evidence unexplored as it travels to new locations to investigate compelling new finds in multiple states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Oklahoma, Texas, Vermont and Washington.

"I don't think people realize how many witnesses there are," says Moneymaker. "FINDING BIGFOOT shows what it's like actually going out in the woods. If you make the sounds they make, sometimes they actually come around. Sasquatches are in a lot of different places, and they exist."

In addition to their global jaunts, the team members participate in a special "pre-show" special. Moderated by Animal Planet executive producer Keith Hoffman, the special brings the team together in an informal setting to discuss the investigations in greater detail and to provide insights and tips not shared in the show. Who doesn't want to know how the team films at night without scaring away potential bigfoots, or what the cast thinks will happen when bigfoot is found?

FINDING BIGFOOT is produced for Animal Planet by Ping Pong Productions. Keith Hoffman is the executive producer for Animal Planet. Brad Kuhlman and Casey Brumels are the executive producers, and Chad Hammel is the co-executive producer for Ping Pong Productions.

    3. So...I'm guessing no matter where these hefty gentlemen end up screaming in the woods, and no matter how many shows are aired, they do NOT "find Bigfoot"......

    4. Bigfoot is part of the 47% that doesn't pay taxes so Bigfoot doesn't matter to Romney'

    5. That's not what he said he said he couldn't get there vote no matter what so why waste campaign energy on trying

At least that is how I understand it but the words can easily be twisted to your rendition

    6. 49% don't pay taxes now. Those numbers were a few months old. That's right folks 49% on government assistance. Just how Obama and other lazy pigs want it.

  2. Pointing out that Matt is the president of the BFRO
does't help promote the show it belittles the BFRO.Change the childish format and get rid of Moneymaker and his facts and you might get a more adult audience. As a matter of fact replace the voice over guy with Ro Sahebi and spice up the language a bit,Bring in Smeja (armed of course) and then you have yourself a show.

    3. Okay anonymous.. here is one for you. There was a test done about 5 years ago in NYC Central Park. They wanted to see how long one man could avoid contact with other people. This one individual was able to avoid contact for 3 days before being seen. This was in Central park where though thousands & thousands go through there were some areas off the beaten path where very few travel. thus this is why this person was able to avoid contact for so long. Now there are ares in Canada so vast no one or very few have been. I am talikng about areas one million the times the size of central park in NYC. All Primates are very intelligent. In fact just recently they found a wnole new species of Chimpanzees deep within the congo. HMMMM wow they were able to hide from humans all this time. Think about why man hasn't been able to find a live speciman. There is actually enough Physical evidence right now where many scientist in the past scoffed at the idea that now are willing to admit that something is ouy there. Google and you will see what I am talking about..if you know how??

  4. Has moneymaker ever voiced his opinion about the sierra kills?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I really don't know.I would like to find that out myself but I can only assume sour grapes on his part because if anything becomes of it Matt had nothing to do with it and it probably drives him nuts.

      Delete
    2. Moneymaker already said he thinks the whole Sierra Kills story is a lie.

      Delete
    3. BlackJack Rogers must be a real dimwit sucker if he believes the nonsense about Moneymaker having sour grapes about the Sierra Kills story. Moneymaker thought the Sierra Kills story was fake from the get-go, just like most people who followed the story from the start. He was proved right after Meldrum determined the "steak" was a piece of coyote fur. Moneymaker said that before Meldrum even saw the "steak" in person.

      Delete
    4. Moneymaker also claimed to be an attorney for over a decade and only when outed by a blogger in 2010 did he retreat Now Animal Planet only claims he"attended law school." Seems he might not have graduated. He also claims after the show started to have had a close witness in about 1994. Funny none of his many reports and online rants ever mentioned it - few belive his recent revelation. Also, follow the mess connected to the EP footage and you will find his creepy trail of self serving BS. Ever wonder why Dr. Meldrum isn't on the show? Read Science Meets Legend and the preface... and the current state of the Skookum Cast. Or follow the money trail of Wally Hersom who finally seems to have withdrawn his support of BFRO... Moneymaker is IMO no better than Biscardi who he feels should be charged with criminal "hoaxing!" Pot calling the Kettle black? Too bad the decent members of BFRO can't oust him, but it is privately owned... what a mess he made for so many. Too bad this site does little original research and leaves it to anons to randomly stop by and retell the horror stories.

      Delete
    5. he's a joke. 500$ to camp for two days with a BFRO expert? WTF and people do it LOL!

      Delete
    6. Everything good happening in bigfoot researcher over the past 20 years was directly or indirectly because of Moneymaker. Nothing was stopping anyone else from trying but he was the only one who could do it. He is still the only one who is backed by sponsors. There's a reason for that.

      Delete
    7. Duhh ... Meldrum isn't on the show because he's a professor. Is he on any other show, you lying clown?

      Delete
    8. He does have a law degree. That makes him a lawyer.

Why do people keep trying to spread false information about Moneymaker? I think they don't like him because he has the biggest following and has a TV show now too. Its the most popular bigfoot show ever and it has brought a new huge audience to bigfoot research.

Here's what I say to try to smear him: Why weren't you able to do what he did? Why couldn't you have done better? Can you answer those questions?

      Delete
    9. I meant to say "Here's what I say to those who try to smear him .."

      Delete
    10. Moneymaker still claims to be a lawyer, because he is a lawyer. I've seen his degree and photos of him at graduation from law school in Ohio.

The current state of the Skookum cast is that all scientists who examined say its the real deal. The "current state of the Skookum cast" is not determined by what the latest jealous asshole has claimed about it, without even examining it. The scientists didn't have any political agenda behind their conclusions, but the lying critics sure did.

    12. Wally gave a bunch of trail cameras to Derek Randles and his friends (i.e. the Olympic Project) a few years ago because Randles bragged and boasted that he could get photos sooner than the BFRO. After a few years of boasting and big talk, the Olympic Project has gotten absolutely nothing except photos of known animals. They are no closer to getting any trail cam photos than the BFRO. Wally is pretty frustrated with the Olympic Project now and won't be supporting them much longer. Randles made lots of promises to Wally that he could not fulfill, nor could his friends. They are nothing but hot air and empty promises.

    13. lol a quick net search reveals Matt's new "bio" on Animal Planets website.. . a fun read, and qualified as supplied by Matt himself! Odd, he doesn't even mention "attending" Law school as the 2011 Animal Planet bio did. No claim of a Doctorate of Jurisprudence either. Wow, that used to be his claim to credibility, but given way now to his claims of first in the field on several fronts. Looking stranger every anon comment!

      Delete
    14. Go to the BFRO website his bio there says he graduated from law school in 1996, or it used to anyway. Maybe that changed too.

      Delete
    15. You don't know squatch about the Olympic Project anon 10:15!

      Delete
    16. Moneymaker's bio on BFRO.net is GONE.
For some reason a guy who used to threaten every BFer he didn't like with a lawsuit (because he is a lawyer)doesn't even claim a JD degree anymore.
      LOL or BOOBOO?
I vote with anon above, seems like Matt may have been lying about a few key things, like his basic credentials.
Anon who has "seen his degree and grad photos" it would be nice if you would share those, or get Matt to do so, and end these attacks on his credibility.
Better yet, maybe Shawn Evidence and Team Tazer can uncover this one.
Except, this is disturbing, the "best websites and blogs" on the BFRO page are weirdly the same names we see here.
      What a crock!

      Delete
    17. Why don't you bet MM $1,000 about his law degree, so it's worth his while to prove it to you dumb-asses?

      Delete
    18. The Olympic Project has produced no results and Wally is disappointed with it, considering all the promises made by Derek. Wally thinks Derek is all talk.

      Delete
    19. anon 9:15
The cost of a law degree and the supposed prestige it affords ought to make it "worth it" for Moneymaker to prove, or proudly display without any prompting from fans or critics.
By letting that cool credential disappear from his bios it does seem he is the dummy, or worse.
      IMHO.

  5. i dnt think ill bother watchin this as it is stpid, they never see anything or catch anything, its always the same every show, sucks really!

    1. Remember the show "Home Improvement" with Tim Allen. Now that show was the same every episode!

Tim had a fight with his wife.
Tim tried to make things better his way, but actually made things worse.
Tim spoke to his insightful neighbour over the fence and got advice.
Tim apologizes on his show by butchering his neighbours advice.
      then end.

      I hated that show.

      Delete
    2. So in essence Tim is MM and Bigfoot is Wilson.
Wow,that would be a great TV Series.
It could be set in Wa.
Better than Finding Bigfoot,at any rate.

      Delete
    3. Oh no! Of the 1.3 million viewers, the number of dimwits who believe a bigfoot will be paraded before the cameras at the conclusion of each episode is down to 8.
Are you guys blood relatives? I hear banjos.

Off topic but I was reading some of the comments on the other threads slamming Shawn and BFE.This is the only site on this subject that is updated regularly and you can say what you like within reason and not get kicked off.I and many others (I would hope) appreciate Shawn's efforts. This site kicks ass compared to ALL other sites about Bigfoot.
If this site is so bad why come here?
Much respect to Shawn. This is the best in the biz when it comes to this subject.
If you think you can do better and have as many loyal readers/posters feel free to give it a shot.Good luck. Can I get an amen?

  8. Prediction: We will finally get to see the FB/FB video: it will be featured on an episode this season. Remember, the producers have used longtime bigfooters in the past to provide programming content. The majority of the viewers do not know who these people are and the producers know that: credibility is not an issue.
Also, there were comments(yes, I know: pass the salt)here on Shawn's site to the effect an episode this season will feature a thermal capture.

    ReplyDelete

    1. lol decent thermals have been shared via the net for several years... but if FB says it's the real deal we can all trust that! We are a sorry bunch of mindless followets and wanna be on TV bunch. lol I believe in New Jersey housewves too.

  9. @7:56 You're exactly right I must be a real dimwit for not caring for Moneymaker he's such a wonderful guy.
I'm sorry but he seems like a person who would cry like a bitch if it wasn't him who got credit IF anything came out of the kills DNA.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That's exactly what makes you talk shit. You don't like him because he gets credit for nearly everything. You think he needs credit for every last little thing?

So where is the DNA from the Sierra Kills story? The DNA results were supposed to be published in a scientific journal article 2 years ago. How many times did Melba claim she was almost ready to release her findings? Moneymaker said Melba would keep making excuses indefinitely. That's exactly what she has been doing.

Moneymaker was totally right about the Sierra Kills story and Melba. Melba's DNA paper never materialized. Her paper never got published. Nothing ever proved Smeja's story. Everyone (except the dimwits) figured out that Smeja is a liar and a sleaze ball.

Moneymaker has sour grapes about all that?

      Delete
    2. And you get your facts from? Loser ! U don't know crap about anything regarding Melba, Moneymaker, Smeja , or the DNA project! Theorizing ball of crap! Anon 9:31 your a moron! You don't know jack and u lie!

      Delete
    3. We could argue all day but that is not going to change the fact that I don't like Matt Moneymaker and never will. You obviously do and thats ok.In my above comment I said "IF" when talking about the DNA and I sure as hell wasn't talking about the Ketchum study I think most gave up on that long ago.

I don't like how MM tries to pass things off as fact and thinks everything that HE has anything to do with is a Sasquatch.

There are no facts yet and won't be until one is captured or killed and I couldn't care less about what he gets credit for IMO he is and always will be someone that thinks they know more than they actually do.

Defend him if thats how you feel I just don't like the man or the show.done.

      Delete
    4. So that's why you lie about him. It's because you don't like him.

That's why the others lie about him too.

      Delete
    5. Since when is giving your opinion lying? Moneymaker is a douche and that's not an opinion that right there is a FACT.

      Delete
    6. If blackjack had a show I'd watch,at least he comes across as an honest broker,Moneymaker is making his living off bigfoot so that takes away from his credibility. The only card I need is the ace of spades, god bless Lemmy.and rum

  13. Hey guys just a heads up: I took a look on the list of known species and I did not find "Bigfoot" or "Sasquatch", so these things do not exist. Just thought id let you all know so you dont waste anymore time on it. Peace.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Why does MM feel it necessary to lie about a personal sighting? Why is he so afraid to admit the truth that he actually hasn't seen a bigfoot? It takes away nothing from what he actually has done, so why then?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. How did you convince yourself that MM didn't have a sighting like he says he did? Did you decide that after reading some of the anonymous bullshit comments on this forum?

Or are you trying to propagate that same misinformation, in the guise of questions.
